![]() Sparrow Bar and Kitchen is set to open July 6th in the old Bia's Restaurant and Wine Bar location at 1640 Haight Street. It will be a great addition to Haight's dining scene since it seems to be lacking a bit in dinner options (think Alembic and Magnolia, though they are both relatively recent to Haight as well). From the sneak peek photos from SF Magazine, the interiors look very inviting with wood stained tables and metal chairs. Sparrow also boasts a large 40 person back patio with heat lamps! The menu, created by Ola Fendert (of Oola in SOMA), will be based on seasonal fare including roasted baby beets, cured salmon, and caramel chocolate molten cake. We look forward to this new addition to the Haight and can't wait to welcome them to the 'neighborhood!'
