Serious Incidents
First block of Villa Terr.  11:30 AM  Burglary  A victim reported that she
left the front door of her home unlocked and that a thief entered the house
sometime between 10 PM on April 26 and 8 AM on April 27. The burglar took
car keys and stole a backpack from a car parked in front of the building. A
wallet, with its contents, was also taken in the burglary and a suspect was
arrested in Albany, CA, with the victim's stolen bank card.

1300 block of 4th Ave.  5:30 PM  Burglary  A resident came home and found a
33 year old Reno, NV, woman (whom he did not know) inside his apartment. He
left the building and called the police. Officer Racine investigated and
arrested the woman; she had entered the building via an unlocked garage
door, showered in the victim's apartment, moved furniture and drapes inside
the home, and packed his belongings in a suitcase. She was booked at Park
Station for burglary.

Other Incidents
100 block of Belvedere St.  9:15 PM  Missing Person  Teen left juvenile
facility without permission.

Buena Vista Park  Noon  Theft  A citizen reported that a couple left the
park carrying a large crate of flowers.

800 block of Central Ave.  10 PM  Missing Person  Teen failed to return to
facility as promised.

2400 block of Geary Blvd.  4 AM  Mental Health Evaluation  Officer Dennis
investigated a disturbance in an Emergency Room and took a 29 year old SF
man to SFGH for a mental health evaluation.

Golden Gate Park

       An auto burglary that occurred between 6;30 and 7:50 AM was reported
on MLK and Kezar Drives.
       Officer Farrell arrested a 20 year old SF man for possessing
marijuana for sale at Alvord Lake at 11:40 AM.

Haight Street Corridor

       Officer Brandt arrested an 18 year old Outer Richmond District man
for sales of marijuana at Haight and Stanyan Streets at 2:50 PM.
       Officer Doherty arrested a 38 year old SF man on a SF warrant and for
a Sit/Lie violation at Haight Street and Masonic Avenue at 4:30 PM.
       Sergeant Lewis arrested a 37 year old Tenderloin District man for
peddling without a license and for a Sit/Lie violation on the 1800 block of
Haight Street at 9:50 PM.

1500 block of Turk St.  12:50 PM  Vandalism  Known suspect damaged finish
of parked car.

Woodhaven Ct.  5:50 PM  Battery  Suspect known.

Serious Incidents
1400 block of Hayes St.  7 PM  Burglary  Occurred between 2:30 and 3:30 PM.
Illegal entry via front door. Laptop computer taken.

100 block of Buena Vista Terr.  9:15 PM Burglary  Two incidents: One
occurred between April 23 and 26. No forced entry found. Bicycle taken from
building's garage. One occurred in an adjacent building between April 24
and 25. No forced entry found. Valuables taken from car parked in garage.

2000 block of McAllister St.  10:30 PM  Attempted Burglary  A resident
heard a prowler attempting to open a kitchen window in the rear of her
flat. No entry was made.

Other Incidents
First block of Baker St.  1 PM  Death Case  Officer Lundin handled a death
case and turned the investigation over to the Medical Examiner's Office.

1700 block of Eddy St.  12:30 PM  Narcotics Case  Officer Hunt and Officer
Burke assisted a State Parole Officer and arrested a 40 year old SF man for
possessing methamphetamine for sale. The man's parole was violated, too.

1800 block of Eddy St.  7 AM  Missing Person  A concerned mother called
Park Station from Mississippi to report that she had not heard from her
son, who lives on the 1800 block of Eddy Street, since April 16. He was
found at home that evening by Officer Lee and advised to call his mother.

Eddy and Pierce Streets  12:15 AM  Threats  Suspect known.

2100 block of Fulton St.  5:30 PM  Harassing Phone Calls Suspect known.

1200 block of Grove St.  4:20 PM  Theft  Bank fraud case.

Haight Street Corridor
       Foot Beat Officer Kelly arrested a 29 year old SF man for being drunk
in public at Haight and Cole Streets at 9:30 AM.
       A merchant reported a broken window on the 1700 block of Haight
Street at 1 PM.
       Foot Beat Officer Racine arrested a 29 year old SF man for being
drunk in public at Haight and Belvedere Streets at 6 PM.
       Officer Doherty arrested a 20 year old SF man on a SF auto theft
warrant at Haight and Clayton Streets at 6:15 PM.
       Officer Doherty arrested a 26 year old Stockton man for being drunk
in public on the 1700 block of Haight Street at 9:20 PM.
       Sergeant Lewis cited a 37 year old Tenderloin District man for
peddling without a permit on the 1700 block of Haight Street at 10:20 PM.
       Officer Doherty arrested a 29 year old SF man on a SF vandalism
warrant on the 1400 block of Haight Street at 11 PM.

Golden Gate Park
       Officer Fegan took a 25 year old SF man from Hippie Hill to SFGH for
a mental health evaluation at 3 PM.
       Officer O'Leary admonished a 23 year old SF man about loitering where
narcotics are sold at Alvord Lake at 4:30 PM

Oak and Divisadero Streets  5:15 PM  Traffic Case  Hit and Run chain
traffic collision, no injuries reported.

Serious Incidents
Haight St. and Central Ave.  11 PM  Robbery  An 18 year old Diamond Heights
woman was texting on her cell phone as she walked on the 1300 block of
Haight Street when a masked robber jumped from a doorway and tried to take
the cell phone from her. She fought with the man and he struck her many
times in her face with his fist. The robber fled empty handed. She was
treated for her injuries at Kaiser Hospital.

Other Incidents
First block of Broderick St.  5 PM  Threatening Phone Calls  Suspect known.

500 block of Cole St.  6:40 PM  Theft  A resident left his garage on Page
Street unlocked and a thief took power tools from the building.

600 block of Divisadero St.  8:40 PM  Battery  Two men argued about illegal
ticket sales, both alleged an assault. Neither desired to press charges.

Divisadero St. and Geary Blvd.  6:35 AM  Traffic Case  Car versus
pedestrian: injured party taken to SFGH.

Divisadero St. and Geary Blvd.  5 PM  Mental Health Evaluation  Officer
Rodriguez brought a 42 year old Western Addition man to UCSF for an
evaluation.

1700 block of Eddy St.  5:30 PM  Theft  A burglary victim saw a suspect
riding his stolen bicycle and chased the man to Golden Gate Avenue and
Fillmore Street, where he recovered his bike.

Golden Gate Park

       Officer Farrell arrested a 26 year old SF man for possessing burglary
tools at Alvord Lake at 2 PM.
       Officer Fegan arrested a 21 year old Outer Sunset man on a SF warrant
at Alvord Lake at 2:30 PM.
       Officers Farrell and Fegan arrested an 18 year old Treasure Island
man on a SF warrant at Alvord Lake at 6:30 PM.

Haight Street Corridor

       A locked bicycle was stolen on the 1800 block of Haight Street
sometime between 2 and 3 PM.
       Officer Racine took custody of a shoplifter in a grocery store on the
600 block of Stanyan Street at 3:30 PM. The 40 year old SF man had stolen
groceries and spat on and threatened the two security guards who arrested
him. The man was charged with assault, battery, making felony threats, and
theft. He was booked at Park Station.
       Officer Doherty arrested a 40 year old SF man on a SF DUI warrant at
7:30 PM on the 1600 block of Haight Street.

Hayes and Baker Streets  3:55 PM  Violation of a Court Order  Officer Reyes
saw a man on the 1400 block of Hayes Street who was free on bail on a
narcotics sales case. A judge had ordered the 40 year old Diamond Heights
man to stay away from the intersection of Hayes and Baker Streets pending
the resolution of the sales case. The man was arrested for violating the
court order.

1200 block of Page Street  8:45 PM  Missing Person  A teen walked away from
a juvenile facility.

500 block of Waller Street  9:10 AM  Threats  A man who slept in the
doorway of a business on the 500 block of Waller Street became agitated
when an employee arrived for work and tried to force his way into the
business while he threatened to harm the woman. The police were called and
Officer Kelly and posse found the suspect inside Duboce Park. They arrested
the 25 year old SF man for making felony threats and booked him at Park
Station.

Haight Street Corridor

       Officer Valliquette investigated a death case inside an apartment on
the 1200 block of Haight Street at 2:45 PM. The Medical Examiner's Office
took over the case.
       Officer Doherty arrested a 54 year old SF man on 15 local misdemeanor
warrants on the 1600 block of Haight Street at 5:45 PM.
       A 39 year old SF man was arrested for being drunk in public at 6:15
PM on the 700 block of Stanyan Street.
       At 8:15 PM Sergeant Burrows arrested a 31 year old SF man on a
misdemeanor Santa Cruz County vandalism warrant on the 1100 block of
Masonic Avenue.

1900 block of Grove St.  10:14 PM  Battery  Officer Tarbox investigated a
Domestic Violence incident and named a suspect.

Serious Incidents
Stanyan and Grattan Streets  12:15 AM  Robbery  A 43 year old Cole Valley
man was texting on his cell phone as he walked home. Two robbers, their
faces and heads covered, approached the man and demanded his belongings.
The man surrendered his phone and cash to the thieves who fled on foot.

700 block of Ashbury St.  3:30 PM  Stolen License Plate

100 block of Belvedere St.  4:30 PM  Missing Person  Adult walked away from
facility.

800 block of Broderick St.  6:45 PM  Warrant Service  Officer Greer
arrested a 36 year old Chinatown man on a San Mateo County DUI warrant.

200 block of Central Ave.  3 PM  Theft  Occurred on April 6; victim
suspects a utility worker.

Golden Gate Park

       Officer Farrell cited a man on Hippie Hill at 11:50 AM for smoking in
the park and found that the 38 year old Tenderloin resident had been
reported missing in New Hampshire. The good officer ascertained that his
subject was in fit condition and released the man.  His name was removed
from the Missing Persons reporting system.
       A 53 year old SF man was arrested for being drunk in public in Sharon
Meadows at 4:15 PM.

Haight Street

       Officer McArthur investigated an assault on the 1400 block of Haight
Street at 1:20 AM and ordered an ambulance for a 24 year old Lacey, WA, man
who stated that he told another man that he would "take a punch and bleed
for money." The man had injuries to his right eye and nose. His assailant
fled without paying the victim.
       Officer Elieff arrested an 18 year old Oakland man on an Alameda
County probation violation warrant on the 700 block of Stanyan Street at
4:30 PM.
       A bike shop employee on the 700 block of Stanyan Street reported that
a customer had failed to return a bicycle from a test ride at 5 PM.
       At 10:30 PM at Haight and Cole Streets, Sergeant Ryan and posse
stopped to talk with a 29 year old Outer Sunset man about the conditions of
his probation. The man fled from the good Sergeant and was stopped at Cole
and Waller Streets. He was charged with possession of opiates and marijuana

1700 block of McAllister St.  3:15 PM  Mental Health Evaluation  Officer
Barnes brought a 44 year old SOMA man to SFGH for an evaluation.

First block of Shrader St.  10 AM  Missing Person  A resident of a
rehabilitation facility left without permission. The 58 year old SF man is
also suspected of stealing another resident's belongings.

and 22. Forced entry via rear door to business. Safe forced open and cash
taken. Computer taken, too.

1800 block of Fell St.  4 PM  Burglary  Occurred between 9:30 AM and 2:50
PM.  Entry via flat's unlocked back door.  Two computers and a camera
taken.

500 block of Baker St.  8 PM  Stolen Vehicle  '10 Honda taken between April
13 and 20.

800 block of Central Ave.  3:45 PM  Missing Person  Teen left facility
without permission; he returned at 10 PM.

1900 block of Fulton St.  8:30 AM  Vandalism  Window broken on parked car.

2200 block of Geary Blvd.  5:15 PM  Theft  Unattended wallet taken from
sixth floor office sometime between 8 AM and 4 PM.

Golden Gate Park - Horseshoe Pit  8 AM  Warrant Service  Officer Wilberg
arrested a 25 year old Sunnyside District man on a local felony probation
violation warrant.

Grove and Divisadero Streets  4:30 PM  Traffic Case  A 22 year old Santa
Ana, CA, man was cited for a traffic violation and for driving without an
issued license; his car was impounded.

Haight Street Corridor

       Officer Kohrs arrested a 39 year old SF man for breaking a window on
the 1700 block of Haight Street at 1 AM.
       A 32 year old Eureka, CA, man was arrested for being drunk in public
at Haight and Cole Streets at 1:30 AM
       Officer Bodisco arrested a 29 year old SF man on a local misdemeanor
warrant on the 600 block of Cole Street at 9:50 AM.
       Officer Machado arrested a 40 year old SF man on a Plumas County
probation violation warrant on the 1100 block of Masonic Avenue at noon.
       Foot Beat Officer Gumpfer warned a 37 year old SF man about a Sit/Lie
violation on the 1400 block of Haight Street at 7 PM.

2200 block of Hayes St.  1:40 PM  Missing Person  A 14 year old Milpitas
girl ran away from her mother and had second thoughts. She approached a
Good Samaritan near Dolores Park and called her mother on his phone.
Officer Rouede found the runaway at 18th and Dolores Streets and reunited
the teen with her mother.

1200 block of Page St.  9 PM  Missing Person  Teen ran away from juvenile
facility.

1900 block of Page St.  Noon  Hazardous Material Incident  A maintenance
worker inadvertently mixed acid with chlorine and created a dangerous
chemical reaction. SFFD personnel responded and asked for help from Park
Station in closing down the street . Sergeant Dacre and posse obliged. The
spill was contained and neutralized by 1:45 PM. No injuries were reported.

Serious Incidents
1600 block of Hayes St.  7:15 AM  Burglary  Occurred between April 20 and
21. Forced entry of side door to garage and of car parked inside. Three
bicycles, a skateboard and a cell phone were taken.

Geary Blvd. and Scott St.  7:20 PM (April 19)  Grand Theft  A MUNI
passenger had his cell phone taken from his hands by a suspect who fled
when the bus stopped.

1700 block of McAllister St.  9:30 PM  Burglary  A resident discovered that
his closet's floor safe had been forced open sometime between April 16 and
19. Jewelry was taken.

300 block of Divisadero St.  10:30 PM Burglary  Two adjacent businesses had
their rear doors forced open and their offices ransacked. Cash was taken
from both premises.

Other Incidents
100 block of Belvedere St.  9 PM  Missing Person  A teen left a juvenile
facility without permission at 3:45 PM, she returned unscathed at 9 PM.

100 block of Carmel St.  4 PM  Auto Burglary  Occurred between April 20 and
21.

First block of Crestline Dr.  10:30 PM  Stolen Vehicle  '95 Honda
recovered.

400 block of Divisadero St.  9:30 AM Vandalism  Occurred between 3 and 9
AM. Gas station's card readers on gas pumps glued shut.

Eddy and Scott Streets  11:20 PM  Traffic Case  A 24 year old Bayview man
was cited for an equipment violation and for driving without a license; his
car was impounded.

1600 block of Fell St.  7:30 AM  Vandalism  Gas station's locks on pump
handles glued shut and its emergency cutoff switch damaged

Golden Gate Park - Sharon Meadow  10 AM  Narcotics Case  Officer Bodisco
arrested a 36 year old Oakland woman for loitering where narcotics are used
and served a BART PD warrant for her arrest.

Haight Street Corridor

Officer Brandt arrested a 20 year old San Luis Obispo woman on a Newark PD
felony narcotics warrant on the 1700 block of Haight Street at noon.

Foot Beat Officer Davies arrested a 36 year old SF man for being drunk in
public, a Sit/Lie violation, and for creating a public nuisance at Haight
Street  and Masonic Avenue at 7:40 PM.

100 block of Lincoln Way  8 PM  Theft  Debit card fraud case involving a
false internet purchase.

1200 block of Page St.  Missing Person  One teen reported found at 9:15 AM
and other was reported missing from the same juvenile facility at 4:30 PM.

Rivoli and Cole Streets  2:15 PM  Stolen Vehicle  '96 Honda taken sometime
between April 20 and 21.

300 block of Upper Terr.  10 AM  Theft  Credit card fraud case involving a
false purchase made in South Africa.

Domestic Violence incident and named a 34 year old NOPA man as a suspect.

100 block of Gardenside Dr.  6:25 PM  Theft  Bicycle taken from building's
garage sometime between April 11 and 19.

Golden Gate Park - MLK and Kezar Drives  5:45 PM  Auto Burglary  Occurred
between 5:15 and 5:45 PM.

Golden Gate Park - Middle and Bowling Green Drives  6:50 PM  Auto Burglary
Occurred between 11 AM and 5 PM.

Haight Street Corridor:

       One arrested for disorderly conduct - drunk in public,
       Sergeant Ryan and posse arrested seven people for sales of marijuana
to a police officer in a narcotics enforcement operation that began at 6
PM,
       One person cited for a Sit/Lie violation, and
       One person arrested for theft of recycling at 10:10 PM on the 700
block of Cole St.

Page and Scott Streets  4 Pm  Stolen Vehicle  '10 Lance motorcycle
recovered by its owner.

First block of Shrader St.  7:30 AM  Missing Person  A 26 year old SF woman
walked away from a rehabilitation facility on April 18.

1500 block of 6th Ave.  12:15 AM  Warrant Service  Officer Pena
investigated a disturbance in a home and arrested a 50 year old Inner
Sunset man on a misdemeanor San Mateo County narcotics warrant.

Castro and Waller Streets  2:10 AM  Traffic Case  Hit and Run traffic
collision: the driver of a motorcycle lost control of the bike and dropped
it to the pavement, contacting a parked car, injuring his passenger. The
driver abandoned the motorcycle and his passenger and fled on foot.  The
passenger refused medical treatment at the scene. Sergeant Lewis gave the
passenger a ride home.

1000 block of Cole St.  7 PM  Theft  Unattended wallet taken from
restaurant's counter.

900 block of Fulton St.  10:30 AM  Stolen Vehicle  '87 Honda recovered.

2600 block of Geary Blvd.  3 AM  Vandalism  Graffiti found on MUNI
property.

1700 block of Golden Gate Ave.  9:30 AM  Theft  Bicycle taken from
building's garage sometime between April 15 and 16.

Haight Street Corridor:

       Officer Lundin arrested a 32 year old SF man on a local felony
narcotics warrant at 6:55 AM at 1700 Haight,
       One arrested for disorderly conduct - drunk in public -  at 4 PM at
Masonic Avenue and Haight Street,
       Officer Kavanagh brought a 43 year old Elk Grove, CA, man from the
700 block of Stanyan Street to SFGH for a mental health evaluation at 12:25
PM,
       Officer Lundin cited a 49 year old Tenderloin man for shoplifting
from a grocery store on the 600 block of Stanyan Street at 2:50 PM,
       Officer Doherty warned a 21 year old SF man about a Sit/lie violation
at 3:30 PM on the 600 block of Cole Street,
       Officer Racine brought a 27 year old San Pablo man from the 1400
block of Haight Street to SFGH for a mental health evaluation at 4:40 PM,
and
       Officer O'Leary arrested a 26 year old SF man for throwing shoes over
MUNI lines and on 5 local warrants at Haight and Ashbury Streets at 7:45
PM.

200 block of Henry St.  11:20 AM  Stolen Vehicle  '97 Honda taken between
April 14 and 17.

Laguna Honda Blvd. and Clarendon Ave.  5 PM  Mental Health Evaluation
Officer Doherty brought a 19 year old Pittsburg, CA, man to SFGH for a
mental health evaluation.

800 block of Masonic Ave.  1:15 PM  Stolen Vehicle  '69 Honda motorcycle
recovered.

Oak St. and Masonic Ave.  11;05 AM  Traffic Case  Bicycle versus car:
cyclist taken to SFGH for treatment.

1000 block of Pierce St.  1:10 PM  Death Case  Officer Burke investigated a

1100 block of Pierce St.  10 PM  Mental Health Evaluation  Officer

car.

Haight Street Corridor  One person was warned for a Sit/Lie violation and
one person was cited for a Sit/Lie violation.  A 29 year old Excelsior
District man was cited for shoplifting on the 600 block of Stanyan Street
at 2:30 PM.   A 42 year old Eureka, CA, man was arrested for possession of
marijuana for sale at 5 PM on the 1600 block of Haight Street and a 30 year
old SF man was arrested at Haight Street and Masonic Avenue at 7 PM on a
local misdemeanor warrant; he was also charged with being drunk in public,
a Sit/Lie violation, and with committing a public nuisance.

3000 block of Market Street  9:30 PM  Warrant Service  A 33 year old
Fremont man was stopped by Officer Olson and Officer Chu, Southern Station,
because he was peering into parked cars as he walked the curb line. The man
was arrested on a parole violation warrant.
