Serious Incidents
300 block of Carl St.  2:20 AM  Sexual Battery  A woman was accosted as she
entered her apartment building. The suspect placed one hand over her mouth
and groped her buttocks with the other hand. The woman fought off the
suspect and shouted for help. The suspect fled the building. He was
described as a white male 25 to 20 years old, 5'11" to 6'2" tall, 160
pounds, straight and short brown hair, wearing a green or brown hemp pull
over sweater, blue jeans and a hemp necklace.  This suspect may be the same
person seen exposing himself to passerby at Frederick and Stanyan Streets
just before the Carl Street attack. Inspector Serna, Sex Crimes Detail, is
in charge of the investigations.

Other Incidents
100 block of Gardenside Dr.  3:30 AM  Attempted Auto Burglary  Occurred
between 12 and 2:40 AM. Window broken on truck, no loss.

2500 block of Geary Blvd.  1 PM  Theft  Lock to debris box taken.

Haight Street Corridor  One person cited for Sit/Lie violation.  A 20 year
old SF man was arrested at Haight and Shrader Streets at 3:45 PM on a local
narcotics warrant.  Two people - a 32 year old Oakland man and a 44 year
old SF woman - were arrested at Haight and Stanyan Streets at 5:50 PM.  He
was charged with selling marijuana and she was charged with possession of
narcotics (pills).  Two people - a 23 year old Missouri man and a 30 year
old SF man - were detained at 10 PM at Haight and Cole Streets for fighting
in public.

1800 block of Haight St.  7:15 PM  Theft  Unattended and locked bicycle
stolen from bike rack.

Masonic Ave. and Piedmont St.  6:40 PM  Auto Burglary  Occurred between
April 15 and 16.

Park Police Station  7;30 PM  Missing Person  A father called from
Atascadero, CA, to report his 20 year old daughter missing. She was last
seen in the Haight Ashbury neighborhood.

Serious Incidents
1600 block of Haight St.  6:30 PM  Burglary  Occurred between 9:45 AM and
4:45 PM. Entry via unlocked rear door. Three computers and jewelry taken.

200 block of Lincoln Way  11 PM  Sexual Battery  A woman walking to her car
was approached from behind by a man with his pants down who groped her
chest. She fought the man off and ran away. The suspect was described as a
white male, 25 years old, with curly hair and numerous facial piercings
including a black piercing between the eyebrows. He was wearing a salmon
colored sweatshirt and blue jeans. UCSF PD Officer Hackard (415.476.1414)
is investigating the case. Inspector Serna, SFPD Sex Crimes Detail, is
coordinating the investigation with both police departments.

Other Incidents
500 block of Buena Vista West  3 PM  Theft  Internet fraud case.

800 block of Corbett Ave.  9:30 PM  Threats  Suspect known.

1500 block of Fulton St.  3:30 PM  Theft  Bicycle taken from building's
garage.

Haight Street Corridor  One person was cited for Sit/Lie violation. One
missing person was found at Haight and Belvedere Streets.

400 block of Irving St.  8:40 PM  Aided Case  SFFD personnel aided a 23
year old Outer Sunset man who fell to the ground while trying to board a
moving MUNI LVR. He ran into the closed rear doors of the second car of the
train.

Laguna Honda Blvd. and Woodside Ave.  12 PM  Traffic Case  Non-injury
traffic collision between a SFFD ambulance and a moving car.

Kezar and MLK Drives  8:30 PM  Auto Burglary  Occurred between 6:40 and
8:30 PM.

700 block of Page St.  6:20 PM  Aided Case  A resident called to report a
theft and Officer Greer investigated. He found that the resident's roommate
had taken the missing belongings and had thrown them into a neighbor's
yard. The good officer brought the roommate to a mental health clinic in
the SOMA.

800 block of Pierce St.  12:30 PM  Stolen Vehicle  '96 Honda taken between
April 14 and 15.

300 block of Buena Vista Ave.  3 PM  Theft  Officer Barcena and Officer
Nakano located a named suspect in an earlier theft (March 2011) from a
residence on the 300 block of Buena Vista Ave. They questioned the man on
the 4000 block of 18th Street and released him. The investigation
continues.

First block of Douglass St.  12:20 AM  Vandalism  A resident saw a man
break the rear wiper from a parked SUV. Officer Liang investigated and
arrested a 20 year old SF man for vandalism.

Haight Street Corridor  One person arrested for disorderly conduct - drunk
in public - and local warrants. One person arrested on local warrants. One
person warned for a Sit/Lie violation and arrested on a local DUI warrant.

Oak and Stanyan Streets  5:30 PM  Stolen Vehicle  '98 Nissan stolen

1100 block of Pierce St.  11:50 AM  Court Order Violation  Officer Barcena
and Officer Nakano went to a state parole office on the 1700 block of
Mission and arrested a 25 year old SF man for violating a court order on
the 1100 block of Pierce Street on March 28th. They also charged the man
with a parole violation at the behest of his parole agent.

100 block of Twin Peaks Blvd.  7:30 PM  Stolen Vehicle  '06 Hyundai
recovered.

Serious Incidents
Buena Vista Terr  6:30 AM  Threats  Inspector Kelly investigated a threats
case in March wherein a suspect had been identified. The good Inspector
sent plain clothes Officers Barcena and Nakano to the 400 block of Valencia
Street to locate the suspect. The suspect, a 39 year old Mission District
man, was arrested and booked at Park Station for felony stalking and for
violating a court order.

First block of Carmel St.  1:05 PM  Residential Burglary  A resident came
home to find a burglar (white male in his early 50's, 5'6" tall, 115 pounds
with white hair, wearing glasses and a dark jacket over blue jeans) inside
her bedroom holding some of her clothing and prescription medication. The
suspect threw down these items and fled the home. No forced entry was
found.

McAllister and Lyon Streets  2 PM  Robbery  Officer Fegan and Officer
Farrell assisted Sergeant Lederer in a robbery investigation that began on
the 2400 block of O'Farrell Street the day before. The victim identified a
suspect in a photo line-up and the two officers found the suspect in a
laundry at McAllister and Lyon Streets. They arrested the 19 year old NOPA
man and booked him at Park Station for robbery and for felony stalking.

Other Incidents
800 block of Burnett Ave.  2 PM  Theft  Unattended valuables taken from the
unlocked trunk of parked car on April 11.

400 block of Dellbrook Ave.  9 AM Search Warrant Service  Sergeant Ryan and
posse served a search warrant on a residence and seized 128 marijuana
plants in an illegal grow. No arrests were made. Sergeant Niland took over
the Code Abatement portion of the case.

Haight Street Corridor  One person arrested for disorderly conduct - drunk
in public - and on local warrants, one person arrested on local warrants,
one person arrested for possession of narcotics - heroin and hallucinogenic
mushrooms - and on a misdemeanor Santa Cruz County narcotics warrant.

1700 block of Fell St.  11:45 PM  Stolen Vehicle  '08 Mitsubishi recovered.

1200 block of Page St.  4:30 AM  Missing Person  22 year old woman reported
missing by her roommate.

Lower Terr. and Roosevelt Way  2:30 PM  Stolen License Plate

1700 block of McAllister St.  12:45 PM  Death Case  Officer Leong handled a
death case and turned the investigation over to the Medical Examiner's
Office.

Serious Incidents
Geary Blvd. and Divisadero St.  3:05 PM  Robbery  Two incidents occurred
simultaneously at the MUNI bus stop: A 48 year old San Antonio, TX, man was
texting on his cell phone when a robber pulled the phone from his hands and
ran away. The victim gave chase and knocked his phone from the robber's
hand. The victim was then beaten by the robber and an accomplice. The pair
fled with the phone. As this occurred, a third robber pulled a cell phone
from the hands of a 21 year old SOMA man and ran away in the same direction
of the first two robbers. The three thieves had been seen together before
the robberies. No arrests were made.

First block of Terra Vista Ave.  11:55 PM  Residential Burglary  Occurred
between 11 AM and 8 PM. Entry via unlocked front door. Laptop computer
taken.

Other Incidents
6th Ave. and Lincoln Way  4:15 PM  Assault  A 22 year old Inner Sunset
woman was pushing her infant son in a stroller on a path in Golden Gate
Park when a man told her that "prissy people like you with your nice
carriages and pretty little dogs as fashion accessories shouldn't be
allowed to walk the streets." She ignored the man and walked away. He
caught up to her near Lincoln Way and threw a lit cigarette at her. It
missed striking her.

14th St. and Duboce Ave.  9:30 PM  Auto Burglary  Occurred between April 10
and 12.

First block of Carl St.  Noon  Theft  Unattended camera equipment taken
from unlocked car on April 2.

Castro and 16th Streets  Noon  Theft  Unattended wallet taken from shopping
bag on April 1.

100 block of Clifford Terr.  Noon  Theft  Internet fraud case.

1100 block of Cole St.  11 AM  Stolen Vehicle  '97 Honda reported stolen to
San Rafael PD was recovered.

100 block of Corbett Ave.  12:20 PM  Theft  Unattended camera taken from
purse during house party on April 10.

Haight Street Corridor  Two people warned for violating Sit/Lie ordinance.

Hayes and Cole Streets  6:40 AM  Dog Bite A loose dog bit another dog and
its owner.

200 block of Kirkham St.  11:20 AM  Threats  A suspect threatened a DPT
officer towing a car.

McAllister and Broderick Streets  9:20 PM Theft  A catalytic converter was
taken from a parked SUV on April 10.

2400 block of O'Farrell St.  1:10 PM  Stalking  A 21 year old Anza Vista
man reported on April 12 that he had been robbed by two teens in March
2011. Since then he had been harassed by the two perpetrators. On April 12
the two robbers chased the victim into an electronics store on O'Farrell
Street. Officer Fegan investigated and located the teens in a group home on
the 800 block of Central Avenue. She seized two replica handguns from the
boys. Sergeant Lederer took over the investigation.

Shrader and Hayes Streets  10:40 AM  Theft  Unattended and locked bicycle
taken from tree.

1200 block of Waller St.  5 PM  Theft  Unattended bicycle taken from common
area of building.

1100 block of Cole St.  9 AM  Stolen Vehicle  '92 Honda taken.

Deming St.  12:15 PM  Stolen Vehicle  '04 Lexus taken.

1400 block of Divisadero  5 PM  Protest  An activist group, Homes not
Jails, rallied in the Panhandle at Oak and Ashbury Streets. They marched
through the Haight Ashbury and Western Addition neighborhoods and took over
an empty building at Divisadero and O'Farrell Streets. SFPD Tactical
Officers arrested eight people for trespassing at 10 AM on April 12.

Haight Street Corridor  One arrested on local warrants and for a Sit/Lie
violation. Three hand made benches chained to trees and traffic signs at
Haight and Clayton and Haight and Ashbury Streets were seized for violating
a Department of Public Works code.

Fulton and Ashbury Streets  9:35 PM  Traffic Case  Officer Bowers
investigated an injury traffic accident and arrested a 20 year old Santa
Clarita man for felony DUI and felony Hit and Run driving (he abandoned his
car and returned to the scene forty minutes later).

Golden Gate and Central Avenues  4:30 PM  Protest  Members of a
congregation marched from their church to USF's campus to protest a school
policy.

Masonic Ave. and Grove Street  8:30 AM  Traffic Case  A pedestrian in the
crosswalk was struck by a car which proceeded to strike another car in the
intersection. Two were taken to SFGH. (Note: Park Station Officers will be
focusing their traffic enforcement operations in the Masonic Avenue
corridor for the rest of the month.)

1600 block of Oak St.  9:45 AM  Stolen Vehicle  '10 VW recovered.

2400 block of O'Farrell St.  2 PM  Theft  A customer returned a $2,000
camera and asked to purchase two iPods. The clerk removed the devices and
placed them on the counter. The customer walked off with the two iPods
without paying for them when the clerk was distracted.

1000 block of Pierce St.  1 PM  Vandalism  A landlord reported damage to
three locks in his building.

Scott and Fulton Streets  5:40 PM  Traffic Case  A 38 year old Western
Addition man was cited for an equipment violation and for driving with a
suspended license; his car was impounded.

Haight Street Corridor  Two people were booked on warrants, one person was
booked for violating a court stay away order, one person was arrested for
theft (shoplifting), one person was warned for violating the Sit/Lie
ordinance, two people were cited for Sit/Lie violations, and one person was
arrested for vandalism.

Fell and Shrader Streets  1 AM  Traffic Case  A 31 year old Mission
District woman was cited for a registration violation and for driving with
a suspended license; her car was impounded.

Locksley Ave  7:30 PM  Battery Occurred inside an apartment; suspects
known.

and 11:50 PM on April 8. A neighbor interrupted a burglar who was taking
water bottles from an unlocked garage.

500 block of Clayton St.  3:40 PM  Residential Burglary  Occurred on April
4. Entry via unlocked bathroom window. Laptop computer taken.

200 block of Castro St.  10 AM  Theft  Bicycle taken from common area in
building's garage.

1300 block of Grove St.  2 AM  Battery  Officer Nyce investigated a
Domestic Violence incident and arrested a 25 year old NOPA man for battery.

in public), one person was cited for peddling without a permit, and one
person was taken to SFGH for a mental health evaluation.

Hayes St. and Masonic Ave.  4 AM Vandalism  MUNI shelter's glass wall

Haight Street Corridor  Four people were booked on warrants, four people
were detained during two search warrant services, one person was booked for
felony theft (shoplifting with three prior theft convictions), four people
were cited for Sit/Lie violations, and one person was warned for a Sit/Lie
violation.

Lawton St. and 7th Ave.  10 AM  Auto Burglary  Occurred between 3 and 3:30
AM.

1300 block of Masonic Ave.  6:30 PM  Threats  Suspect known.

Park Station  9:20 PM  Missing Person  A woman reported her son missing; he
returned to his Sunset District home four hours later unscathed.
