Divisadero and O'Farrell Streets  9 AM  Robbery  A 73 year old Park Merced
woman had her purse snatched by a robber.

Golden Gate Park - Alvord Lake  3:40 PM  Aggravated Assault  A man lost a
fight inside the park and returned with three friends who assaulted three
others, putting all three in the hospital with head and facial injuries.

1200 block of 2nd Ave.  (Lincoln Way)  Burglary  Occurred between 9:15 and
10:15 PM. Illegal entry via front door. Bike, two laptop computers, purse
and wallet taken.

First block of Flint St.  (16th St.)  Burglary  Occurred overnight. Forced
entry of building's garage - bike taken.

1400 block of McAllister St.  (Scott St.)  Burglary  Occurred between July
19 and 22. Entry via open window. Television and computer taken.

cited for driving with a suspended license; her car was impounded.

of July 21.

investigated a fight between two roommates and arrested a 28 year old NOPA
man for aggravated assault and false imprisonment.

Entry via unlocked rear window. Cash taken from business' register.

1900 block of Fulton St. (Ashbury St.)  Burglary  Occurred overnight.
Forced entry to building's storage locker. Credit card and bicycle taken.

forced entry. Three bicycles and valuables taken from parked car in
building's garage.

900 block of Cole St.  (Carl St.)  Theft  Locked bicycle taken overnight.

arrested a 40 year old SF man on a local warrant and charged him with
possessing marijuana for sale.

1100 block of Masonic Ave.  (Haight St.)  9:50 AM  Vandalism  An irate
pedestrian kicked a motorist's fender during an argument over the right of
way.
1700 block of Haight St. (Shrader St.)  5:50 PM  Narcotics Case  Foot Beat
Officer O'Leary arrested a 42 year old SF man on a local warrant and
charged him with possession of an opiate. The man's companion, a 32 year
old SF man, was arrested for violating a court stay away order.

First block of Shrader St.  (Fulton St.)  12:20 AM  Missing Person  45 year
old man walked away from rehabilitation center.

Serious Incidents

1400 block of Oak St.  (Baker St.)  1:20 AM  Robbery  A 22 year old Haight
Ashbury man fought off two robbers who had chased him and demanded his cell
phone. Then they overpowered him and took his athletic bag and groceries.

1800 block of Ellis St. (Steiner St.)  2:15 AM  Aggravated Assault - Shots
Fired  A witness reported seeing a gunman firing shots on Ellis Street. Two
victims reported that they had been fired upon while parking their SUV.
They abandoned their vehicle and fled to a relative's house.

Beulah and Shrader Streets 4 PM  Battery  Officer Tarbox investigated a
Domestic Violence incident wherein a 39 year old Haight Ashbury man struck
his girlfriend and stole her car. Officer Lamela found the perpetrator near
the initial scene six hours later and arrested him for battery and car
theft.

700 block of Stanyan St. (Haight St.)  6:55 PM  Robbery  A 21 year old
Richmond man was robbed of his cell phone.

26 and 27.

1300 block of 7th Ave. (Irving St.)  Stolen Vehicle  '07 Aprillia
motorcycle taken.

850 Broderick St.  2 PM  Death Case  Officer Hunt investigated a death case
and summoned the Medical Examiner's Office.

1300 block of Divisadero St. (O'Farrell St) 5:15 PM  Theft  Shoplifting
case - no arrests.

Divisadero and 14th Streets  2:40 AM  Mental Health Evaluation  A 39 year
old SF woman was brought to SFGH for evaluation.

2400 block of Geary Blvd. (Wood St.)  Threats  Occurred on June 26 -
suspect known.

2000 block of Grove St. (Clayton St.)  Missing Person  61 year old man
walked away from board and care home.

1100 block of Hayes St.  (Pierce St.)  5:30 AM  Burglary  A resident woke
upon hearing a burglar in her kitchen. The thief fled when she called out.
A briefcase and a jacket were taken. The burglar made entry via an unlocked
kitchen window.

1800 block of Grove St.  (Masonic Ave.)  Burglary  Occurred between 3:30
and 7:30 AM when victim was home asleep. Forced entry via side door to
apartment. Laptop computer and car keys taken.

1800 block of Grove St.  (Masonic Ave.)  Burglary  Occurred between 10:30
PM on June 24 and 6:30 AM on June 25. No forced entry found. Entry into
parked car inside building's garage.

First block of Broderick St. (Waller St.)  8:45 PM  Robbery  A 43 year old
Lower Haight District man was thrown to the ground by two robbers who
rifled his pockets and fled with his phone, cash and keys.

3600 block of 16th St.  (Castro St.)  10:35 PM  Aggravated Assault  A 37
year old Santa Rosa man was struck in the head with a bottle which was
thrown from the balcony of a bar.

First block of Castro St. (14th St.)  7:40 PM  Battery  A SFFD medic was
bitten by a woman that he was transporting to a hospital.

1000 block of Divisadero St. (Golden Gate Ave.)  12:25 AM  Traffic Case
Officer Bowers stopped a motorist for running a red light and arrested the
19 year old Pacific Heights man for DUI.

Divisadero St. and Golden Gate Ave.  3:15 AM  Traffic Case  Officer Daza
investigated a hit and run traffic collision and arrested a 22 year old
Novato woman for hit and run driving and DUI.

1300 block of Hayes St. (Divisadero St.)  5:30 PM  Fire Case  SFFD
extinguished a two alarm house fire.

2100 block of Turk St. (Central Ave.)  2:50 PM  Auto Burglary  A witness
called to report that a car was being burglarized by two men. Officer
Ferraz and Officer Leong found the pair nearby. The two suspects fled from
the officers. The good officers captured one man, a 19 year old Chinatown
resident, nearby and charged him with auto burglary.

2600 block of Geary Blvd. (Masonic Ave.)  1:15 PM  Aggravated Assault  A 70
year old Bernal Heights man was struck in the face and knocked to the
ground by a 52 year old South San Francisco man in an altercation over
driving. The older man had honked his car horn at the car that the younger
man had been in.  Officer Hunt investigated and arrested the South City man
for felony assault.

Park Station - 1899 Waller St.  3:50 AM  Disorderly Conduct  Sergeant
Pasquinzo was approached by a cabbie who said that his fare had passed out
in the rear seat of the cab. The good sergeant arrested a 24 year old
Richmond District man for being drunk in public.

Scott and Turk Streets  10:30 PM  Disorderly Conduct  Officer Jackson
arrested a 49 year old Los Angeles man for being drunk in public.

Upper Terr. and Monument Way  7:30 PM  Disorderly Conduct  Officer Tarbox
arrested a 30 year old Corona Heights man for being drunk in public.

Hunt investigated a Domestic Violence incident and named a suspect: a 42
year old Tenderloin District man as the suspect. The investigation
continues.

1100 block of Oak St.  (Divisadero St.)  Burglary  Occurred between 12:30
and 1:30 AM.  Entry via unlocked front door of apartment. Two laptop
computers and a camera taken.

girl left a juvenile facility without permission at 3:15 PM and returned
unscathed later that evening.

man was cited for driving with a suspended license; his car was impounded.

2100 block of Fell St. (Stanyan St.)  9:25 PM  Traffic Case  Officer Liang
arrested a 32 year old SOMA man for DUI.

Haight and Ashbury Streets  1:53 AM  Warrant Service  Officer Wu arrested a
33 year old Mountain View man on a local SF felony warrant.

Clayton and Haight Streets  8:50 PM  Disorderly Conduct  Foot Beat Officer
Davies arrested a 24 year old Ohio man for being drunk in public.

Serious Incidents

First block of Buena Vista East Ave.  5:23 PM  Aggravated Assault on a
Police Officer  Plain clothes officers on a surveillance detail approached
the driver of a stolen car who used the car to assault the officers. The
officers fired shots at the driver and fatally wounded him. Inspector
Cagney, Homicide Detail, took over the investigation.

Domestic Violence incident and arrested a 46 year old Corona Heights man
for making felony threats.

Duboce Park  6:40 PM  Theft  A thief made off with an unattended bicycle.

Geary Blvd. and Lyon St.  8:45 AM  Traffic Case  Car versus bicycle: one
taken to SFGH.

Haight Street Corridor - 690 Stanyan St.  3 PM  Theft  Officer Davies
investigated a shoplifting and charged a 19 year old Kenwood, CA, man with
burglary.

400 block of Central Ave.  12:10 AM Aggravated Assault  A 26 year old NOPA
man was arrested and charged with pointing a loaded pistol at his cousin
and for being a felon in possession of a handgun.

First block of Christopher Dr.  2:30 PM  Explosive Device  A renter
discovered grenades, a mortar round and gunpowder while cleaning the home's
garage. Park Station officers evacuated three homes while SFPD Bomb Squad
officers moved the explosives to Ocean Beach and destroyed them.

600 block of Cole St.  6:15 PM  Vandalism  An irate motorist dented the
trunk of a car during an argument.

1100 block of Divisadero St.  6:50 PM  Traffic Case  48 year old Outer
Sunset man cited for driving with a suspended license; his car was
impounded.

1700 block of Fulton St.  9:40 PM  theft  15 year old Bayview teen cited
for shoplifting and returned to his group home.

body on victim's leg in MUNI LRV.

1400 block of Page St.  11:30 AM  Theft  China taken sometime during
victim's six month absence.

Serious Incidents
Stanyan and Carl Streets  2 PM  Aggravated Assault  A 36 year old SF man
accidentally bumped into a 41 year old SOMA man. The older man grew irate
and the two argued. The older man picked up a brick, chased the other man
with it and threw the brick at the victim; missing him. Officer Fegan found
the perpetrator nearby and arrested him. He was booked at Park Station for
making threats and for aggravated assault.

Buena Vista Park  7:30 PM  Warrant Service  Officer Farrell broke up a
fight and arrested a 21 year old Richmond District man on a BART PD
warrant.

500 block of Central Ave.  10:30 PM  Missing Person  A 16 year old who was
reported missing to the Oakland PD was found in a youth shelter and
reunited with an Oakland Police Officer at SFGH.

Duboce Park  4 AM  Vandalism  Graffiti on MUNI Tunnel.

Fortuna Ave.  6:50 PM  Auto burglary  Occurred on May 13.

1200 block of Fulton St.  5:40 PM  Aided Case  Officer Tarbox checked on
the well being of a 59 year old Alamo Square man and summoned an ambulance
after finding the man incapacitated in his home.

2100 block of Geary Blvd.  2 PM  Stolen Vehicle  '01 Mazda recovered.

       Golden Gate Park

Sharon Meadows  4 PM  Narcotics Case  Sergeant Ryan and posse attempted to
arrest a 29 year old Lafayette man for selling marijuana but the man fled
the officers and resisted their arrest. During the struggle, a suspect
stole an unmarked police car that was left with its engine running by an
officer who came to the aid of his compatriots. The Lafayette man was
arrested and booked at Park Station. The police car was recovered in a
parking garage on the 3800 block of Geary Boulevard at 2 PM on May 19. It
had been abandoned there at about 5 PM on May 18.

1100 block of Masonic Ave.  3:15 PM  Warrant Service  Officer Ferraz
arrested a 40 year old SF man on a SF DUI warrant and cited him for a
Sit/Lie violation.
Haight and Cole Streets  4:45 PM  Sit/Lie Violation  One cited.
Haight and Cole Streets  4 Pm  Warrant Service  Officer Racine arrested a
29 year old Haight Ashbury man on a SF vandalism warrant.
1600 block of Haight St.  5 PM  Warrant Service  Officer Doherty arrested a
38 year old SF man on five SF warrants and booked him for a Sit/Lie
violation.
600 block of Clayton St.  6:30 PM  Sit/Lie Violation  One warned.

Hayes and Ashbury Streets  12:45 PM  Auto Burglary  One occurred between
May 11 and 12 and another occurred between May 16 and 17.

First block of Shrader St.  10:30 PM  Missing Person  47 year old failed to
return to a rehabilitation facility as promised.

1600 block of Turk St.  9:45 PM  Missing Person  Teen failed to return home
after school.

Waller and Belvedere Streets  10:30 AM  Auto Burglary  Occurred between May
14 and 16.

Serious Incidents
2400 block of Geary Blvd.  4 PM  Aggravated Assault  Officer Parker
investigated a Domestic Violence incident and named a 36 year old Western
Addition man as a suspect. Officer Bowers searched the neighborhood and
found the man on the 2800 block of Bush Street. He arrested the perpetrator
without incident. The suspect was booked at Park Station on three felony
charges.

to Kaiser Hospital for injuries suffered in an unprovoked attack.
1700 block of Grove St.  2:30 PM  Vandalism  28 year old NOPA man cited for
malicious mischief: he broke a neighbor's window with a water balloon.
500 block of Scott St.  10 AM  Aided Case  21 year old Sacramento man taken
to St. Francis Hospital for injuries suffered in a fall.
700 block of Stanyan St.  12 PM  Battery  49 year old SF man struck by
another man wearing a pink tank top with angel's wings.

1400 block of 7th Ave.  11 PM  Missing Person  58 year old Inner Sunset man
reported missing by his partner.

1500 block of 7th Ave.  11 PM  Stalking  Officer Daza investigated a call
of man stalking a resident. He located the suspect, a 31 year old Pacifica
man, determined that he was in need of a mental health evaluation, and
brought him to SFGH.

1200 block of Arguello Blvd.  9 AM  Theft   Unattended bicycle taken from
building.

200 block of Burnett Ave.  12:30 Pm  Auto Burglary  Occurred between May 13
and 15.

400 block of Burnett Ave.  12:30 Pm  Auto Burglary  Occurred between May 14
and 15.

800 block of Central Ave.  9:30 PM Missing Person  Teen reported missing
from facility; he returned without an explanation an hour later.

Cole St. and Parnassus Ave.  3:30 PM  Battery  46 year old Auburn, CA, man
detained during investigation.

1600 block of Fulton St.  2:15 AM  Battery  A 28 year old NOPA man was
assaulted by a stranger on the sidewalk.

2600 block of Geary Blvd.  8:30 PM  Vandalism  A security guard closed a
parking lot with a chain and saw a motorist trapped in the lot break the
chain's fastener and escape in a white car.

Golden Gate Park
At 6:15 PM Officer Farrell and Officer Fegan arrested a 47 year old Mission
District man on six SF warrants in Sharon Meadows. He resisted their arrest
but they overpowered him and took him into custody. They had to walk their
prisoner to Park Station due to a lack of proper transportation and he
resisted their efforts during the quarter mile walk by screaming at them
and twisting away from them. The man was also found to be in possession of
marijuana. He was booked accordingly at Park Station.

2100 block of Grove St.  8 PM  Missing Person  40 year old woman walked
away from her rehabilitation center.

Haight Street Corridor
 - Officer Bodisco arrested a 29 year old SF man on a SF warrant at 11 AM
on the 1800 block of Haight Street.
 - Officer Davies arrested a 30 year old Outer Sunset man for DUI during a
traffic collision investigation at Waller and Stanyan Streets at 2:45 PM
 - A 26 year old SF man was assaulted by an irate motorist outside Buena
Vista Park at 5:20 PM.
 - A pedestrian was struck by a car in the crosswalk of Haight and Clayton
Streets; the victim was taken to SFGH by an ambulance.
 - At 5:55 PM Officer Greer arrested a 27 year old South San Francisco man
for battery and for being drunk in public on the 1800 block of Haight
Street.The perpetrator was booked for the disorderly conduct charge and
cited for the battery upon his release from Park Station.
 - A resident reported that his locked bicycle was taken from a bicycle
rack at Haight and Divisadero Streets at 10 PM.
 - At 11:30 PM a 25 year old NOPA woman reported her purse missing after
fighting with another patron in a bar on the 1400 block of Haight Street.

600 block of Masonic Ave.  7:40 PM  Theft  Unattended purse taken from
stoop at 4:30 PM.

600 block of Shrader St.  9:30 PM  Stalking  Suspect known.

800 block of Stanyan St.  12:50 AM  Mental Health Evaluation  Officer Nyce
took a 29 year old SF man to SFGH for an evaluation.
