Serious Incidents

1100 block of Broderick St. (Eddy St.)  10:20 AM  Robbery  A 36 year old
NOPA woman was retrieving mail in front of her house when a robber
approached her from behind, placed a hand over her mouth and demanded her
cell phone. The suspect grabbed the phone from the victim's hand, pushed
her to the ground, and ran away. A neighbor gave chase to the suspect - who
was with another man - and recovered the phone when the perpetrator dropped
it.

Eddy and Divisadero Streets  11:25 AM  Robbery  A witness called the police
to report that a woman had been knocked to the ground and robbed. Sergeant
Gin and posse saw the suspect and gave chase. Officer Kenney captured the
robber, a 16 year old Western Addition male, at Turk and Scott Streets and
arrested him for robbery.

Other Incidents

First block of Dellbrook Ave. (Olympia Way)  3:50 PM  Death Case  Officer
Anderson checked on the well being of a resident and summoned the Medical
Examiner's Office when he found the woman dead in her home.

1300 block of Divisadero St.  9:45 AM  Auto Burglary  A witness saw a man
carrying a briefcase away from a car with a broken window.  Another witness
recovered the briefcase nearby and returned it.

Fell St. and Masonic Ave.  10:25 AM  Vandalism  A customer broke a gas pump
with its nozzle and drove away.

2400 block of Geary Blvd.  (Wood St.)  Theft  A property manager reported
that a building had changed hands but the former property manager continued
to rent apartments to innocent tenants.

Masonic Ave. and Fell St.  12:20 PM  Traffic Case  Traffic collision: car
versus pedestrian - one party taken to SFGH.

1400 block of Page St.  (Central Ave.)  2:15 AM  Aided Case  Sergeant Silas
and posse investigated a call of a man down and found a 28 year old Antioch
man who had fallen from a fourth floor window.  He was taken to SFGH.

Turk and Divisadero Streets  11:40 AM  Traffic Case  Traffic collision: car
versus car - two injured.
