Serious Incidents

1400 block of Grove St. (Divisadero St.)  2:20 AM  Shots Fired  Officers
investigated a call of shots fired and found two parked cars with bullet
holes in them. Four residents on the 1500 block of Grove Street reported
that their homes were struck by bullets, too.

1600 block of Eddy St.  (Steiner St.)  6:20 AM  Burglary  Occurred between
3 PM on June 25 and 5:45 AM on June 26; forced entry via front door. Cash
and medicine taken.

1200 block of 7th Ave.  (Lincoln Way)  11:20 PM  Attempted Robbery  A woman
walking home was confronted at her front gate by a man who demanded her
belongings and took hold of her purse. She resisted his efforts and called
for help. The suspect fled empty handed.

Other Incidents

Divisadero and Fell Streets  1:45 PM  Traffic Case  A 53 year old Pacific
Heights man was cited for driving with a suspended license and had his car
impounded.

1400 block of Fulton St. (Broderick St.)  Traffic Case  Hit and run traffic
collision of parked car sometime in the evening.

       Haight Street Corridor

Haight and Shrader Streets  5:10 PM  Traffic Case  A 40 year old Daly City
man was cited for driving with a suspended license and had his car
impounded.
600 block of Stanyan St. (Haight St.)  Theft  Officer Bowers investigated a
shoplifting case and cited a 24 year old SF man for petty theft.

O'Farrell and Beideman Streets  11:05 PM  Traffic Case  Officer Wu
investigated a traffic collision and arrested a 50 year old Portola
District man for DUI.

1200 block of Page St.  (Baker St.)  Missing Person  Teen ran away from
facility.

2000 block of Turk St.  (Broderick St.)  11:30 AM  Auto Burglary

Serious Incidents

First block of Beaver St. (Castro St.) 10 AM  Burglary  Occurred between
June 4 and 5. Laptop taken. Entry via unlocked back door of house.

Forest Hill MUNI Station  7:10  Attempted Robbery  A 14 year old Miraloma
Park boy said that two other teens tried to rob him of his cell phone. He
escaped the pair by running through the tunnel to the West Portal Station.

Panhandle Park - Ashbury and Oak Streets  11:50 PM  Robbery  A 24 year old
Pacific Heights man said that he and his girlfriend were confronted by five
men, one of whom wrapped his arms around the victim while another man
pointed a gun at him. The robbers relieved the victim of his wallet, money,
and necklace before escaping.

500 block of Clayton St.  (Page St.)  Theft  Internet bank fraud case
occurred June 16.

400 block of Corbett Ave. (Clayton St.)  1:30 PM  Battery  Officer Lundin
cited a 55 year old Corona Heights man for assaulting a coworker at a
construction site.

2200 block of Geary Blvd.  (Lyon St.)  3:30 PM  Missing Person  A 77 year
old Excelsior District woman became disoriented and walked away from her
family. She was found that evening on the 4200 block of Moraga Street and
reunited with her daughter.

Haight Street Corridor - Haight and Ashbury Streets  3:45 PM  Battery  A 32
year old La Habra, CA, man was beaten by his drinking companions.

1400 block of Masonic Ave. (Frederick St.)  5 PM  Traffic Case  Hit and run
traffic collision of parked car.

2000 block of McAllister St.  (Central Ave.)  10:45 PM  Court Order
Violation  Officer Dennis arrested a 35 year old NOPA man for violating a
court stay away order.

1700 block of Oak St.  (Ashbury St.)  Stolen Vehicle  '92 Subaru taken in
the morning.

2300 block of O'Farrell St.  (St. Joseph's Ave.)  4:30 PM  Disorderly
Conduct  Officer Ferraz arrested a 37 year old Bernal Heights man for being
drunk in public and on a local warrant.  The man had refused to leave a
hospital's emergency room after being discharged.

2400 block of O'Farrell St. (Lyon St.)  8:20 AM  Auto Burglary  Officer
Barcena and Officer Nakano arrested two people - a 22 year old SOMA man and
a 20 year old Sacramento man - for breaking into a parked car and stealing
jewelry. The pair also had property taken in an auto burglary in the
Richmond District.

Serious Incidents

1400 block of Haight St. (at Masonic Ave.)  2:30 PM  Attempted Robbery
Foot Beat Officer Granucci investigated an attempted robbery that occurred
the day before at 5:50 PM.  A merchant reported that a local man had
demanded money from his register. The merchant was able to intimidate the
robber with an air horn and a feigned phone call to the police. Officer
Granucci identified the perpetrator. The investigation continues.

Other Incidents

900 Broderick St. (at Golden Gate Ave.)  6 PM  Traffic Case  Victims of a
hit and run traffic collision on Fulton Street followed the suspect home
and called the police. Officer Tarbox investigated and arrested a 67 year
old Western Addition man for hit and run driving and DUI.

Broderick and Oak Streets  3:15 PM  Traffic Case  Hit and Run traffic
collision, car versus car; no injuries.

1100 block of Elm St. (at Scott St.)  1:10 AM  Fire Case  SFFD extinguished
a two alarm fire.

Fulton and Cole Streets  10:25 PM  Traffic Case  Officer Wu investigated a
four car collision and arrested a  38 year old Ingleside District man for
DUI.

Fulton and Scott Streets  8:55 PM  Traffic Case  Car versus utility pole;
no injuries.

       Golden Gate Park

Alvord Lake  12 PM  Mental Health Evaluation  Officer Fegan took a 32 year
old SF man to SFGH for evaluation.
Alvord Lake  5:10  Warrant Service  Officer Farrell arrested a 25 year old
SF man on a local vandalism warrant.
Sharon Meadow  6:20 PM  Mental Health Evaluation  Officer Fegan took a 27
year old SF man to SFGH for evaluation.

       Haight Street Corridor

1700 block of Haight St. (at Cole St.)  4:15 PM  One warned of Sit/Lie
violation.
Clayton and Haight Streets  4:20 PM  Warrant Service  Foot Beat Officer
O'Leary arrested a 21 year old Redding, CA, man on a Sonoma county warrant.
Waller and Stanyan Streets  10:20 PM  Traffic Case  A 26 year old Belmont
man was cited for driving with a suspended license - his car was impounded.

Masonic Ave. and Geary Blvd.  5:50 AM  Disorderly Conduct  Sergeant
Koltzoff arrested a 49 year old SF man for being drunk in public.

1900 block of Oak St.  (at Cole Street)  Traffic Case  Hit and Run traffic
collision of parked car sometime during the day.

Serious Incidents
Fell St. and Central Ave.  2:50 AM  Attempted Robbery  A 41 year old NOPA
man saw another man standing on the sidewalk near the above intersection.
The other man was holding what appeared to be a handgun and demanded the
first man's belongings. The potential victim walked away from his aggressor
without any loss reported. The suspect was described as a black male in his
early 20's, with three to four inches of hair, wearing a white t-shirt over
dark denim pants, he was carrying a small black handgun.

1400 block of Waller St.  2 PM  Burglary  Occurred between 11 AM and 2 PM.
Entry via open front window. Laptop computer, a camera, and jewelry taken.

Other Incidents
1500 block of 6th Ave.  9:30 PM  Stolen Vehicle  '00 Ford taken.

100 block of Carl St.  3 PM  Missing Person  A 78 year old resident failed
to return home as scheduled. Due to his medical condition, dementia, an
immediate search was launched. The man safely returned home on his own at
10:30 PM.

800 block of Central Ave.  10 AM  Missing Person  A teen failed to appear
in school as promised. She returned to the facility that evening.

2000 block of Fulton St.  9:30 AM  Stolen Vehicle  '99 Subaru taken.

Haight Street Corridor

 - One person cited for a Sit/Lie violation on the 1400 block of Haight
Street at 5:30 PM.
 - Officer Doherty arrested a 29 year old SF man on two misdemeanor SF
warrants at Haight and Stanyan Streets at 8 PM.

1700 block of Hayes St.  12:40 AM  Traffic Case  Officer Liang arrested a
34 year old Inner Richmond District man for DUI.

1800 block of Hayes St.  1 PM  Battery  CCSF PD Sergeant Gaytan arrested an
18 year old OMI District man for battery and making threats during an
altercation at the CCSF John Adams campus.

2000 block of McAllister St.  2:30 PM  Traffic Case  A 20 year old Bayview
District man was cited for a registration violation and for driving with a
suspended license; his car was impounded.

200 block of Steiner St.  9 AM  Stolen Vehicle  '09 Volvo taken.

First block of Sunview Dr.  11 PM  Death Case  Office Lee handled a death
case and turned the investigation over to the Medical Examiner's Office.

400 block of Warren Dr.  7:45 AM  Search Warrant Service  Sergeant Gin and
posse served a search warrant in an apartment and recovered a prohibited
assault weapon and a silencer.

400 block of Warren Dr.  2:15 PM  Theft  Bank fraud case.
