Note:  Park Station's Community Police Forum will not be held on August
9th. Instead we will meet with Chief Suhr and residents of Richmond and
Taraval Police Districts at 6 PM on August 16th at the County Fair Building

500 block of Frederick St.  Burglary  Occurred overnight. Interior door
pried open and bicycle taken from building's garage.

1600 block of Haight St.  Burglary  Occurred during the day. Entry via open
kitchen window. Two laptop computers taken.

Other Incidents

1200 block of Broderick St.  1 PM  Battery  Officer Peltier investigated a
Domestic Violence incident and named a suspect.

1800 block of Ellis St.  Auto Burglary  Occurred overnight.

1500 block of Haight St.  2:20 AM  Vandalism  Window of business broken.
600 block of Haight St.  9 PM  Theft  Unattended purse taken from bar.

1700 block of Hayes St.  6 PM  Traffic Case  22 year old San Pablo woman
cited for driving with a suspended license; her car was impounded.

600 block of Oak St.  7 PM  Battery  Officer Bowers investigated a Domestic
Violence incident and arrested a 29 year old Western Addition woman for
battery.

1500 block of Waller St.  Vandalism  Two parked cars had their tires
slashed overnight.

1600 block of Turk St.  (Scott St.)  12:40 AM  Robbery  A man walking home
from a bar was mugged by six to eight robbers. He lost his cell phone and
wallet.

600 block of Broderick St.  (Grove St.)  Burglary  Occurred between June 30
and July 19. Bike taken from garage.

2000 block of Grove St. (Cole St.)  Burglary  Occurred between July 13 and
19. Bike taken from locked garage.

1800 block of McAllister St.  (Baker St.)  Burglary  Occurred during the
day. Entry via unlocked window. Electronic games, laptop and car keys
taken.

500 block of Central Ave.  (Hayes St.)  1:20 PM  Battery  Officer Diskin
investigated an argument and arrested a 58 year old Pittsburg, CA, woman
for battery.

First block of Cole St.  (Fulton St.)  1:30 AM  Vandalism  Window of parked
car broken with a hammer.

Divisadero and Eddy Streets  Auto Burglary  Occurred between July 17 and
18.

1800 block of Golden Gate Ave.  (Broderick St.)  Auto Burglary  Occurred
April 26.

1100 block of Masonic Ave. (Haight St.)  Auto Burglary  Occurred between
July 15 and 16.
Page St. and Masonic Ave.  Vandalism  Window of parked car broken the
morning of July 16.
1500 block of Waller St.  (Clayton St.)  Auto Burglary  Occurred between
July 15 and 16.
Haight St. and Buena Vista West  3 AM  Disorderly Conduct  Sergeant Silas
and posse arrested three people, all San Francisco residents in their late
teens and twenties, for being drunk in public and for possessing marijuana
and open containers of alcohol.
600 block of Stanyan St. (Haight St.)  Counterfeit Money  A grocery store
manager reported receiving two counterfeit bills on July 17. The U.S.
Secret Service was advised.

300 block of Baker St. (Fell St.)  8 AM  Aggravated Assault  Officer Kenney
investigated a fight between two roommates and arrested a 28 year old NOPA
man for aggravated assault and false imprisonment.

1300 block of Haight St.  (Masonic Ave.)  Burglary  Occurred overnight.
Entry via unlocked rear window. Cash taken from business' register.

1900 block of Fulton St. (Ashbury St.)  Burglary  Occurred overnight.
Forced entry to building's storage locker. Credit card and bicycle taken.

500 block of Stanyan St. (Hayes St.)  Burglary  Occurred overnight. No
forced entry. Three bicycles and valuables taken from parked car in
building's garage.

Other Incidents

1200 block of 7th Ave. (Lincoln Way) 10 PM  Battery  Officer Brown
investigated a Domestic Violence incident and arrested a 43 year old Inner
Sunset man for battery.

First block of Beaver St. (Noe St.)  Theft  Laptop, iPad, and DVD player
taken by guests.

Castro and 15th Streets  9:40 PM  Traffic Case  Hit and Run traffic
collision, no injuries.

Clayton and 17th Streets  5:30 PM  Traffic Case  32 year old Tenderloin man
cited for driving without ever having a license issued; his car was
impounded.

900 block of Cole St.  (Carl St.)  Theft  Locked bicycle taken overnight.

Golden Gate Park - Alvord Lake  6:20 PM  Narcotics Case  Officer Farrell
arrested a 40 year old SF man on a local warrant and charged him with
possessing marijuana for sale.

       Haight Street Corridor

1100 block of Masonic Ave.  (Haight St.)  9:50 AM  Vandalism  An irate
pedestrian kicked a motorist's fender during an argument over the right of
way.
1700 block of Haight St. (Shrader St.)  5:50 PM  Narcotics Case  Foot Beat
Officer O'Leary arrested a 42 year old SF man on a local warrant and
charged him with possession of an opiate. The man's companion, a 32 year
old SF man, was arrested for violating a court stay away order.

First block of Shrader St.  (Fulton St.)  12:20 AM  Missing Person  45 year
old man walked away from rehabilitation center.

1400 block of Oak St.  (Baker St.)  1:20 AM  Robbery  A 22 year old Haight
Ashbury man fought off two robbers who had chased him and demanded his cell
phone. Then they overpowered him and took his athletic bag and groceries.

1800 block of Ellis St. (Steiner St.)  2:15 AM  Aggravated Assault - Shots
Fired  A witness reported seeing a gunman firing shots on Ellis Street. Two
victims reported that they had been fired upon while parking their SUV.
They abandoned their vehicle and fled to a relative's house.

Beulah and Shrader Streets 4 PM  Battery  Officer Tarbox investigated a
Domestic Violence incident wherein a 39 year old Haight Ashbury man struck
his girlfriend and stole her car. Officer Lamela found the perpetrator near
the initial scene six hours later and arrested him for battery and car
theft.

700 block of Stanyan St. (Haight St.)  6:55 PM  Robbery  A 21 year old
Richmond man was robbed of his cell phone.

Other Incidents

1200 block of 7th Ave. (Lincoln Way)  Auto Burglary  Occurred between June
26 and 27.

1300 block of 7th Ave. (Irving St.)  Stolen Vehicle  '07 Aprillia
motorcycle taken.

850 Broderick St.  2 PM  Death Case  Officer Hunt investigated a death case
and summoned the Medical Examiner's Office.

1300 block of Divisadero St. (O'Farrell St) 5:15 PM  Theft  Shoplifting
case - no arrests.

Divisadero and 14th Streets  2:40 AM  Mental Health Evaluation  A 39 year
old SF woman was brought to SFGH for evaluation.

2400 block of Geary Blvd. (Wood St.)  Threats  Occurred on June 26 -
suspect known.

2000 block of Grove St. (Clayton St.)  Missing Person  61 year old man
walked away from board and care home.

Golden Gate Park - Alvord Lake  2:20 PM  Warrant Service  Officer Farrell
arrested a 21 year old Vallejo man on a local warrant.

7th Ave. and Lawton St.  Vandalism  Someone entered the public garden
between June 18 and June 22 and damaged plants and a retaining wall.

1200 block of Divisadero St. (Eddy St.)  7:20 PM  Battery  A clerk was
assaulted at his store's counter and he pepper sprayed the suspect.

1700 block of Eddy St. (Pierce St.)  6:40 PM Battery  Two acquaintances
engaged in mutual combat.

Fell and Divisadero Streets  12:55 AM  Traffic Case  Car versus car, no
injuries.

2092 Geary Blvd. (Scott St.)  Auto Burglary  Occurred between June 17 and
18.

       Golden Gate Park

Alvord Lake  11:15 AM  Warrant Service  Officer Bodisco arrested a 31 year
old SF man on a Parole Violation warrant.
Sharon Meadow  3:10 PM  Disorderly Conduct  Officer Fegan arrested a 25
year old SF man for being drunk in public.

100 block of Grattan St. (Cole St.)  Auto Burglary  Occurred between June
21 and 22.

       Haight St. Corridor

1500 block of Haight St. (Clayton St.)  11 AM  Theft  A clerk reported that
a 51 year old Tenderloin District man was a habitual thief. Today, the man
took a jacket from the store without paying for it. Officer Kranci saw the
suspect running on Haight Street and arrested the man for theft.

Serious Incidents

First block of Beaver St. (Castro St.) 10 AM  Burglary  Occurred between
June 4 and 5. Laptop taken. Entry via unlocked back door of house.

Forest Hill MUNI Station  7:10  Attempted Robbery  A 14 year old Miraloma
Park boy said that two other teens tried to rob him of his cell phone. He
escaped the pair by running through the tunnel to the West Portal Station.

Panhandle Park - Ashbury and Oak Streets  11:50 PM  Robbery  A 24 year old
Pacific Heights man said that he and his girlfriend were confronted by five
men, one of whom wrapped his arms around the victim while another man
pointed a gun at him. The robbers relieved the victim of his wallet, money,
and necklace before escaping.

Other Incidents

500 block of Clayton St.  (Page St.)  Theft  Internet bank fraud case
occurred June 16.

400 block of Corbett Ave. (Clayton St.)  1:30 PM  Battery  Officer Lundin
cited a 55 year old Corona Heights man for assaulting a coworker at a
construction site.

2200 block of Geary Blvd.  (Lyon St.)  3:30 PM  Missing Person  A 77 year
old Excelsior District woman became disoriented and walked away from her
family. She was found that evening on the 4200 block of Moraga Street and
reunited with her daughter.

Haight Street Corridor - Haight and Ashbury Streets  3:45 PM  Battery  A 32
year old La Habra, CA, man was beaten by his drinking companions.

1400 block of Masonic Ave. (Frederick St.)  5 PM  Traffic Case  Hit and run
traffic collision of parked car.

2000 block of McAllister St.  (Central Ave.)  10:45 PM  Court Order
Violation  Officer Dennis arrested a 35 year old NOPA man for violating a
court stay away order.

1700 block of Oak St.  (Ashbury St.)  Stolen Vehicle  '92 Subaru taken in
the morning.

2300 block of O'Farrell St.  (St. Joseph's Ave.)  4:30 PM  Disorderly
Conduct  Officer Ferraz arrested a 37 year old Bernal Heights man for being
drunk in public and on a local warrant.  The man had refused to leave a
hospital's emergency room after being discharged.

2400 block of O'Farrell St. (Lyon St.)  8:20 AM  Auto Burglary  Officer
Barcena and Officer Nakano arrested two people - a 22 year old SOMA man and
a 20 year old Sacramento man - for breaking into a parked car and stealing
jewelry. The pair also had property taken in an auto burglary in the
Richmond District.

Geary Blvd. and Scott St.  12:25 PM  Grand Theft  A 23 year old Richmond
District woman had her iPhone taken from her hand as she sat on a MUNI bus.
The suspect fled with the phone as the bus stopped.

1100 block of Hayes St.  (Scott St.)  11:15 PM  Grand Theft  A 27 year old
Western Addition woman was fumbling with her bicycle as she opened the
entrance gate to her apartment. A thief approached and pulled her cell
phone from her hand and ran away with it.

2000 block of McAllister St. (Central Ave.)  11:50 PM  Battery  Officer Wu
investigated a Domestic Violence incident and arrested a 35 year old NOPA
man for felony battery.

Other Incidents

Fell and Shrader Streets  7:20 AM  Dog Case  Officer Crockett investigated
an abandoned van with two dogs in it. He found them outside the van and
brought the dogs to Park Station where an Animal Care and Control officer
took custody of them.

1700 block of Fulton St.  (Masonic Ave.)  4:55 PM  Theft  Officer Bowers
investigated a shoplifting incident and cited a 47 year old Richmond
District man for petty theft.

Golden Gate Park - Sharon Meadow  3:45 PM  Warrant Service  Officer Farrell
arrested a 43 year old SF man on three warrants - two from Shasta County
and one from Los Angeles County.

Grove and Divisadero Streets  3:15 PM  Traffic Case  64 year old Berkeley
man cited for driving with a suspended licence and had his car impounded.

       Haight Street Corridor

600 block of Cole St. (Haight St.)  4:15 PM  One warned for Sit/Lie
violation.
1600 block of Haight St.  (Cole St.)  4:15 PM  A merchant found a woman in
a bus stop with items stolen from his store. Foot Beat Officers Racine and
O'Leary were summoned and they arrested the 47 year old Tenderloin District
woman for burglary.

Masonic Ave. and Hayes St.  4:30 PM  Traffic Case  31 year old Western
Addition man cited for driving with a suspended licence and had his van
impounded.

500 block of Roosevelt Way  10:30 PM  Theft  Wallet taken, suspect known.

Shrader and Hayes St.  7:50 AM  Traffic Case  A motorist driving on the
wrong side of the street stopped in front of Sergeant Koltzoff's marked
radio car and backed into another car. Sergeant Koltzoff investigated and
cited the 51 year old Bayview District man for driving with a suspended
license - his car was impounded.

Parole Violation warrant.
       Haight and Cole Streets  9 PM  34 year old New York woman kicked in
face by unknown suspect.
       Ashbury and Waller Streets  11 PM  27 year old Millbrae man cited for
driving with a suspended license and had his car impounded.
       Haight and Stanyan Streets  11:15 PM  20 year old SF woman arrested
for violating a court order.
       Haight and Cole Streets  11:45 PM  25 year old SF man arrested on
Clark County, WA, burglary warrant.

100 block of Locksley Ave.  11:45 AM  Stolen Vehicle  '97 Acura taken

900 block of Page St.  12 AM  Traffic Case  29 year old Excelsior District

Bay to Breakers (Late Report)
Masonic Ave. and Fell St.  2 PM  Lost Property Victim reported losing his
wallet and having it returned minus his drivers license.

       May 20

Serious Incidents
771 Clayton St.  Burglary  Occurred between 12 and 12:30 PM on May 19.
Entry via an unlocked door. Two laptop computers taken while victim was
home.

200 block of Corbett Ave.  7:50 PM  Robbery  A 29 year old Twin Peaks woman
used an ATM at 18th and Castro Streets and walked home. She was pulled to
the ground, struck in the face, and robbed of her purse and money by two
female juveniles on the 200 block of Corbett Ave.  Officer Tarbox
investigated and broadcast the description of the two robbers. Mission
Station's Officers Richard and Buckner found the two perpetrators at 18th
and Castro Streets and the victim identified them as her assailants.
Sergeant Callaway took over the investigation and recovered the stolen
property from the pair. They were surrendered into the custody of a
Juvenile Probation Officer at the Juvenile Justice Center on Woodside Ave
and charged with robbery.

Other Incidents
600 block of Central Ave.  8:40 PM  Battery  Officer Embody investigated a
Domestic Violence incident and arrested a 38 year old NOPA woman for
violating a court order and on a SF warrant for battery. He seized a
shotgun from the premises, too.

800 block of Central Ave.  10 PM  Missing Person  Teen left juvenile
facility without permission.

1700 block of Golden Gate Ave.  Stolen Vehicle  '72 Oldsmobile taken
sometime between 2:30 and 3:30 PM.

Haight Street Corridor

       600 block of Stanyan St.  6:20 PM  Theft  Officer Racine arrested a
51 year old SF man for shoplifting and charged him with felony theft (he
had three convictions for theft), disorderly conduct (drunk in public) and
creating a public nuisance.
       600 block of Ashbury St.  8:40 PM  Sit/Lie Violation  One cited.

Parkridge Dr. and Burnett Ave.  1:10 PM  Disorderly Conduct  Officer Lundin
and Officer Kenney arrested a 51 year old SF man for being drunk in public.
Note: This was the same man who was later arrested for theft on the 600
block of Stanyan Street after being released from Park Station.

300 block of Parnassus Ave.  Stolen Vehicle  '05 Mercedes Benz recovered at
8:30 AM.

First block of Shrader St.  5 PM  Missing Person  27 year old resident of
rehabilitation facility returned after an unexplained and unpermitted
absence.

600 block of Central Ave.  8:40 PM  Battery  Officer Embody investigated a
Domestic Violence incident and arrested a 38 year old NOPA woman for
violating a court order and on a SF warrant for battery. He seized a
shotgun from the premises, too.

800 block of Central Ave.  10 PM  Missing Person  Teen left juvenile

Bay to Breakers - Late Report
1800 block of Fell St.  1:35 PM  Battery - Trespassing  A 23 year old party
guest from the Sunset District refused to leave an apartment and was cited
for trespassing. Her accuser, a 32 year old NOPA man, was cited for pushing
her (battery).

Serious Incidents
1100 block of Scott St.  3:30 AM  Shots Fired  Residents reported hearing
shots fired near Turk and Scott Street. Officers found rifle casings and
four windows shot out in an inhabited apartment.

2000 block of Fulton St.  8:50 AM  Burglary  Occurred between 5 PM on May
15 and 8 AM on May 16. No forced entry found. Four bicycles, a surfboard
and a wet suit were taken from the building's garage.

1700 block of Waller St.  9:45 AM  Burglary  Occurred between 1 and 7:45
AM. Forced entry of tradesman door to garage. Laptop computer and iPod
speakers taken from bedroom as victim slept.

Golden Gate Park - Alvord Lake  3:05 PM  Aggravated Assault  A 29 year old
SF man was struck in the head with a skateboard by a 37 year old Daly City
man. Officer Kranci and Officer Newland arrested the suspect nearby. The
victim was taken to UCSF for treatment.

1500 block of 6th Ave.  5 PM  Stolen Vehicle  '02 Toyota taken.

2100 block of 15th St.  11:30 AM  Stolen Vehicle  '05 Acura recovered.

800 block of Broderick St.  10 AM  Death Case  Officer Diskin investigated
a death and turned the case over to the Medical Examiner's Office.

800 block of Central Ave.  4 PM  Missing Person - Vandalism  Two reports: a
broken door in a juvenile facility and a missing 17 year old.

400 block of Divisadero St.  11:40 AM  Battery  Suspect known.

Eureka and Market Streets  5:30 PM  Traffic Case  A 52 year old Twin peaks
man was cited for a traffic violation and for registering his car in a
foreign jurisdiction (Florida); his SUV was impounded.

2100 block of Golden Gate Ave.  4:30 PM  Vandalism  Graffiti found on
church wall.

 - Koret Children's Quarters (Children's Playground)  8 AM  Vandalism
Three trees cut down overnight.

Haight Street Corridor

 - Haight and Belvedere Streets  7:20 PM  Narcotics Case  Officer Elieff
arrested a 25 year old SF man for selling hallucinogenic mushrooms.

Locksley Ave.  10 AM  Stolen Vehicle  '92 Toyota recovered

First block of Pierce St.  1:20 PM  Vandalism  Resident's tree cut down
overnight.

700 block of Stanyan St.  4:30 PM  Theft  Suspect shoplifted dog collar
from pet store.
