Serious Incidents
Stanyan and Waller Streets  6:30 PM  Grand Theft  A 28 year old Haight
Ashbury woman had her cell phone pulled from her hand as she waited to
cross the street. The thief ran south on Stanyan Street.

100 block of Belvedere St.  11 PM  Missing Person  Two residents left their
facility without permission.

800 block of Central Ave.  8 PM  Missing Person  A teen left his facility
without permission.

Duboce Park - Steiner St. and Duboce Ave.  1:10 PM  Aided Case  A tree
branch fell on four parked cars and one passing car. Recreation and Park
employees handled the case.

Geary Blvd. and Divisadero St.  1:50 PM  Battery  Officer Ferraz
investigated a fight and cited two men, a 58 year old Outer Richmond man
and a 53 year old Noe Valley man, for battery.

Haight Street Corridor
  - Two people were cited for Sit/Lie violations during the course of the
day.

Panhandle Park - Fell and Ashbury Streets  9:15 AM  Warrant Service
Officer Andrews arrested a 30 year old SF man on a misdemeanor SF warrant.

First block of Shrader St.  7 PM  Missing Person  A resident left his
rehabilitation facility without permission.

Twin Peaks - Christmas Tree Point  12:01 AM  Disorderly Conduct  Officer
Daza arrested a 21 year old Pacifica man for being drunk in public.

Serious Incidents
200 block of Twin Peaks Blvd.  5:45 AM  Robbery  A photographer walking
from Twin Peaks was accosted on the 200 block of Twin Peaks Boulevard and
robbed at gunpoint by two men (Hispanic males in their late 20's wearing
blue jeans) and relived of his belongings: backpack, camera, wallet and
cash.

1400 block of Hayes St.  7 AM  Burglary  Occurred between 2 and 6 AM. No
forced entry found. Video game and house keys taken.

400 block of Warren Dr.  8 AM  Weapons Case  Officer Barcena and Officer
Nakano investigated a Domestic Violence case and fought with the suspect
who resisted their arrest. They overpowered the 50 year old Forest Knolls
District man and arrested him. He was charged with battery and with
possession of a prohibited assault rifle. Four pistols, two shotgun, and
numerous rifle and hand gun rounds were also seized from the apartment.

800 block of Central Ave.  20 PM  Missing Person  Teen walked away from
facility.

Fell and Divisadero Streets  4 AM  Auto Burglary

Golden Gate Ave. and Divisadero St.  2:25 AM  Battery  A 26 year old NOPA
District woman said that her cabbie grew upset with her and slapped her
twice when she would not give him the exact location of their destination.
The victim left the cab and the suspect fled.

Haight Street Corridor

 - One person cited for a Sit/Lie violation at Haight Street and Masonic
Avenue at 8 PM.

400 block of Stanyan St.  8:45 PM Missing Person  Officer Lee searched for
a suicidal woman who left a hospital's emergency room before being
evaluated by staff. He found the woman at her home in the Richmond District
and returned her to the hospital.

Twin Peaks - Christmas Tree Point  1:15 AM  Battery  Suspect known.

Woodhaven Court  5 PM  Theft  Unattended mail taken from front porch.

4300 block of 17th St.  12 PM  Theft  Unattended and locked bicycle taken
from parked car.

100 block of Belvedere St.  7:30 AM  Narcotics Case  Officer Nakano
conducted a search of a 54 year old Haight Ashbury man's residence at the
request of the man's parole agent.

Carl and Cole Streets  4 AM  Vandalism  Graffiti on MUNI Tunnel.

800 block of Central Ave.  10 AM  Missing Person  Two juveniles were
reported missing from a facility. Both reported found at 9 PM.

100 block of Cole St.  3 PM  Missing Person  Sergeant Kane located a 36
year old Cole Valley resident who had been reported missing by her
ex-husband.

300 block of Divisadero St.  1:15 PM  Battery  Officer Barcena investigated
a disturbance and arrested a 31 year old Excelsior District man who stuck
an acquaintance and threatened to harm another man's wife. The suspect was
booked on five charges at Park Station.

700 block of Divisadero St.  4 PM  Warrant Service  Officer Ferraz arrested
a 48 year old SOMA man on a SF warrant for violating a restraining order
after stopping the man for a traffic violation.

2000 block of Geary Blvd.  11 PM  Auto Burglary

2600 block of Geary Blvd.  3;10 PM  Theft  A suspect stole a hair extension
from a beauty store.

Golden Gate Park - McLaren Lodge  6:30 AM  Disturbing the Peace  Officer
Brandt arrested a 55 year old SF man for challenging a Park Ranger to
fight.

1500 block of Grove St.  9 AM  Theft  Security camera taken from side of
building.

Haight and Divisadero Streets  3 AM  Vehicle Theft  Sergeant Lewis stopped
three men to question them about the motorcycle that one man was pushing.
Officer Brown contacted the owner of the motorcycle at home on the 900
block of Haight Street and learned that the vehicle had been stolen. The
good Sergeant arrested one of the men, a 37 year old Albany, CA, resident
and charged him with vehicle theft.

Haight Street Corridor
 - Two people warned for Sit/Lie violations and two others cited for the
same during the course of the day.
 - A 49 year old SF man was asked to stop selling his own merchandise
inside a business on the 1600 block of Haight Street at noon. The man
threatened to burn down the building. Foot Beat Officer Kelly investigated
and arrested the man nearby, charging him with making felony threats. The
man was on probation for arson and a probation hold was placed on him as
well.
 - Foot Beat Officers Gumpfer and Davies arrested a 40 year old Mission
District man for being drunk in public on the 1400 block of Waller Street
at 4 PM.

2200 block of Hayes St.  2:30 PM  Stolen Vehicle  '02 Cadillac stolen.

1200 block of Page St.  4:45 Missing person  Teen left facility without
permission.

Serious Incidents
Haight St. and Central Ave.  11 PM  Robbery  An 18 year old Diamond Heights
woman was texting on her cell phone as she walked on the 1300 block of
Haight Street when a masked robber jumped from a doorway and tried to take
the cell phone from her. She fought with the man and he struck her many
times in her face with his fist. The robber fled empty handed. She was
treated for her injuries at Kaiser Hospital.

First block of Broderick St.  5 PM  Threatening Phone Calls  Suspect known.

500 block of Cole St.  6:40 PM  Theft  A resident left his garage on Page
Street unlocked and a thief took power tools from the building.

600 block of Divisadero St.  8:40 PM  Battery  Two men argued about illegal
ticket sales, both alleged an assault. Neither desired to press charges.

Divisadero St. and Geary Blvd.  6:35 AM  Traffic Case  Car versus
pedestrian: injured party taken to SFGH.

Divisadero St. and Geary Blvd.  5 PM  Mental Health Evaluation  Officer
Rodriguez brought a 42 year old Western Addition man to UCSF for an
evaluation.

1700 block of Eddy St.  5:30 PM  Theft  A burglary victim saw a suspect
riding his stolen bicycle and chased the man to Golden Gate Avenue and
Fillmore Street, where he recovered his bike.

Golden Gate Park

       Officer Farrell arrested a 26 year old SF man for possessing burglary
tools at Alvord Lake at 2 PM.
       Officer Fegan arrested a 21 year old Outer Sunset man on a SF warrant
at Alvord Lake at 2:30 PM.
       Officers Farrell and Fegan arrested an 18 year old Treasure Island
man on a SF warrant at Alvord Lake at 6:30 PM.

Haight Street Corridor

       A locked bicycle was stolen on the 1800 block of Haight Street
sometime between 2 and 3 PM.
       Officer Racine took custody of a shoplifter in a grocery store on the
600 block of Stanyan Street at 3:30 PM. The 40 year old SF man had stolen
groceries and spat on and threatened the two security guards who arrested
him. The man was charged with assault, battery, making felony threats, and
theft. He was booked at Park Station.
       Officer Doherty arrested a 40 year old SF man on a SF DUI warrant at
7:30 PM on the 1600 block of Haight Street.

Hayes and Baker Streets  3:55 PM  Violation of a Court Order  Officer Reyes
saw a man on the 1400 block of Hayes Street who was free on bail on a
narcotics sales case. A judge had ordered the 40 year old Diamond Heights
man to stay away from the intersection of Hayes and Baker Streets pending
the resolution of the sales case. The man was arrested for violating the
court order.

1200 block of Page Street  8:45 PM  Missing Person  A teen walked away from
a juvenile facility.

500 block of Waller Street  9:10 AM  Threats  A man who slept in the
doorway of a business on the 500 block of Waller Street became agitated
when an employee arrived for work and tried to force his way into the
business while he threatened to harm the woman. The police were called and
Officer Kelly and posse found the suspect inside Duboce Park. They arrested
the 25 year old SF man for making felony threats and booked him at Park
Station.

Haight Street Corridor

       Officer Valliquette investigated a death case inside an apartment on
the 1200 block of Haight Street at 2:45 PM. The Medical Examiner's Office
took over the case.
       Officer Doherty arrested a 54 year old SF man on 15 local misdemeanor
warrants on the 1600 block of Haight Street at 5:45 PM.
       A 39 year old SF man was arrested for being drunk in public at 6:15
PM on the 700 block of Stanyan Street.
       At 8:15 PM Sergeant Burrows arrested a 31 year old SF man on a
misdemeanor Santa Cruz County vandalism warrant on the 1100 block of
Masonic Avenue.

1900 block of Grove St.  10:14 PM  Battery  Officer Tarbox investigated a
Domestic Violence incident and named a suspect.

2100 block of Fell St.  10:50 PM  Battery  Officer Letsch investigated a
Domestic Violence incident and named a 34 year old NOPA man as a suspect.

100 block of Gardenside Dr.  6:25 PM  Theft  Bicycle taken from building's
garage sometime between April 11 and 19.

Golden Gate Park - MLK and Kezar Drives  5:45 PM  Auto Burglary  Occurred
between 5:15 and 5:45 PM.

Golden Gate Park - Middle and Bowling Green Drives  6:50 PM  Auto Burglary
Occurred between 11 AM and 5 PM.

Haight Street Corridor:

       One arrested for disorderly conduct - drunk in public,
       Sergeant Ryan and posse arrested seven people for sales of marijuana
to a police officer in a narcotics enforcement operation that began at 6
PM,
       One person cited for a Sit/Lie violation, and
       One person arrested for theft of recycling at 10:10 PM on the 700
block of Cole St.

Page and Scott Streets  4 Pm  Stolen Vehicle  '10 Lance motorcycle
recovered by its owner.

First block of Shrader St.  7:30 AM  Missing Person  A 26 year old SF woman
walked away from a rehabilitation facility on April 18.

taken to SFGH.

Haight Street Corridor  Two people were booked on warrants, one person was
booked for violating a court stay away order, one person was arrested for
theft (shoplifting), one person was warned for violating the Sit/Lie
ordinance, two people were cited for Sit/Lie violations, and one person was
arrested for vandalism.

Fell and Shrader Streets  1 AM  Traffic Case  A 31 year old Mission
District woman was cited for a registration violation and for driving with
a suspended license; her car was impounded.

Locksley Ave  7:30 PM  Battery Occurred inside an apartment; suspects
known.

and 11:50 PM on April 8. A neighbor interrupted a burglar who was taking
water bottles from an unlocked garage.

500 block of Clayton St.  3:40 PM  Residential Burglary  Occurred on April
4. Entry via unlocked bathroom window. Laptop computer taken.

200 block of Castro St.  10 AM  Theft  Bicycle taken from common area in
building's garage.

1300 block of Grove St.  2 AM  Battery  Officer Nyce investigated a
Domestic Violence incident and arrested a 25 year old NOPA man for battery.

Haight Street Corridor  One person was booked for disorderly conduct (drunk
in public), one person was cited for peddling without a permit, and one
person was taken to SFGH for a mental health evaluation.

Hayes St. and Masonic Ave.  4 AM Vandalism  MUNI shelter's glass wall

held at 6 PM on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 in the Station's Community Room.

Serious Incidents
Crown Terr.  8:35 PM  Residential Burglary  A resident heard footsteps on a
lower floor and investigated. He heard someone running from his home and
found a flashlight that had been taken from inside the house and dropped
outside. Officer Parker investigated and a fingerprint was taken from the
light. Entry was via an unlocked side door. No other loss reported.

1000 Fell St.  8:50 PM  Residential Burglary  A resident heard a commotion
in his living room and found three burglars leaving his flat. He gave chase
to the trio but lost sight of them in the neighborhood. He reported that
his television had been moved during the burglary, that a guitar had been
damaged, and that a laptop computer had been stolen. The burglars were
described as: a black male in his late teens, 6' tall, 160 pounds, wearing
a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, carrying a Razor skateboard (used in
his escape); an unknown race male of unknown age with a similar physical
build as the first suspect, wearing similar clothing as the first suspect
with a black cap;  and a Hispanic male of unknown age, 5'6" tall, 145
pounds, also wearing similar clothing as the first two suspects, with a
light moustache. Entry was gained via an unlocked front door.

1700 block of McAllister St.  9:40 PM  Residential Burglary   Occurred
between 2:30 and 8:30 PM. No forced entry found. Medicine, computer
peripherals, and jewelry taken.

Other Incidents
17th and Ord Streets  1 PM  Traffic Case  Sergeant Panina and posse cited
15 motorists for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a marked crosswalk in
a traffic enforcement operation.

Carl and Cole Streets  4 PM  Warrant Service  Officer Anderson arrested a
51 year old Tenderloin man on an Alameda County warrant for disorderly
conduct.

First block of Castro St.  5:45 PM  Battery  Officer O'Leary arrested a 56
year old Mission District man for battery and disorderly conduct. The
drunken man became enraged when told that he would not be treated at the
hospital's emergency room. He struck a doctor and kicked a security guard.
The man was booked at Park Station for being drunk in public and cited for
the assaults upon being released when he was sober.

Fortuna Ave.  3:30 PM  Found Property  Officer Lieu took ammunition
supplies from a resident and delivered them to the Police Range at Lake
Merced for destruction.

2600 block of Geary Blvd.  8:30 PM  Auto Burglary  Occurred between 6:30
and 7 PM.

1900 block of Golden Gate Ave.  6:35 PM  Theft  Bank fraud case: suspect
known.

Golden Gate Park - Sharon Meadows  12:55 PM  Narcotics Case  Officer Nakano
arrested a 25 year old SF man for possession of hallucinogenic mushrooms.

1800 block of Haight St.  6 PM  Theft  Occurred at 1:15 PM on April 5th and
reported at Tenderloin Station. A woman said that she hung her purse over
the back of her chair in a restaurant and later noticed it missing. She
found that her credit cards had been used in fraudulent purchases on Market
Street.

700 block of Page St.  7 PM  Missing Person  A worried father called Police
Service Aide Sainez at Park Station to report that his son, a Haight
Ashbury man, had not arrived in New Zealand as scheduled. Foot Beat
Officers Gumpfer and Davies located the man at home and asked him to call
his father in New Zealand.

600 block of Shrader St.  9:30 AM  Auto Burglary  Occurred between April 5
and 6.

600 block of Haight St.  4:55 PM  Theft  Foot Beat Officer Davies arrested
a 46 year old Mission District man for shoplifting and for disorderly
conduct. The man was booked at Park Station for being drunk in public and
cited for the theft upon being released when he was sober.

2900 block of Turk St.  4:35 PM  Auto Burglary  A witness reported seeing
two suspects rummaging through a parked car with broken glass beneath it.
Officer Bowers investigated but could not locate the car's owner. He left a
message with the owner's neighbor requesting contact.

Turk and Divisadero Streets  1:40 AM  Traffic Case  Officer Wu investigated
a two car traffic collision and arrested a 38 year old Corona Heights man
for felony DUI.
