Serious Incidents
Eddy and Divisadero Streets  2 AM  Robbery  Four people sitting in a parked
car were approached by a gunman who demanded their valuables. The gunman
struck one of the victims in the head with the gun during the robbery. The
perpetrator made off with the one wallet.

Other Incidents
1000 block of Ashbury St.  7:50 PM  Weapons Case  Officer Lee stopped a car
because of a registration violation (the registration tab showing on the
plate did not belong to the car) and found that its driver, a 25 year old
Vallejo woman, was operating the vehicle with a suspended license and was
also wanted on a SF warrant for the same charge. She was arrested and her
passenger was asked to exit the vehicle as her car was to be impounded and
searched. Officer Imbellino searched the car and found a loaded handgun
beneath the passenger's seat. He arrested the passenger, a 24 year old
Richmond man, who was also in possession of marijuana ready to be sold.
Both parties were charged with possessing the gun and booked on four
charges each at Park Station.

Delmar and Waller Streets  8 PM  Traffic Case  Hit and run of parked car.

Divisadero and Oak Streets  12:20 AM  Traffic Case  Bicyclist collided with
a parked car; he was treated at the scene by the SFFD.

Hayes and Ashbury Streets  4 PM  Traffic Case  Hit and run of parked car.

Haight Street Corridor
  - Three people were cited for Sit/Lie violations during the course of the
day.
 - At 9:35 PM a musician reported being battered by another band's member
because of an argument over playing time at a nightclub on the 1800 block
of Haight St.
Masonic Ave. and Page St.  6:20 PM  Traffic Case  A bicyclist struck a car
in the intersection; no injuries were reported.
Twin Peaks Road and Portola Dr.  9:30 PM  Traffic Case  Hit and run
collision between two cars passing on the road.
Seymour St.  4 PM  Stolen Vehicle  '00 Honda recovered.

Serious Incidents
200 block of Twin Peaks Blvd.  5:45 AM  Robbery  A photographer walking
from Twin Peaks was accosted on the 200 block of Twin Peaks Boulevard and
robbed at gunpoint by two men (Hispanic males in their late 20's wearing
blue jeans) and relived of his belongings: backpack, camera, wallet and
cash.

1400 block of Hayes St.  7 AM  Burglary  Occurred between 2 and 6 AM. No
forced entry found. Video game and house keys taken.

400 block of Warren Dr.  8 AM  Weapons Case  Officer Barcena and Officer
Nakano investigated a Domestic Violence case and fought with the suspect
who resisted their arrest. They overpowered the 50 year old Forest Knolls
District man and arrested him. He was charged with battery and with
possession of a prohibited assault rifle. Four pistols, two shotgun, and
numerous rifle and hand gun rounds were also seized from the apartment.

800 block of Central Ave.  20 PM  Missing Person  Teen walked away from
facility.

Fell and Divisadero Streets  4 AM  Auto Burglary

Golden Gate Ave. and Divisadero St.  2:25 AM  Battery  A 26 year old NOPA
District woman said that her cabbie grew upset with her and slapped her
twice when she would not give him the exact location of their destination.
The victim left the cab and the suspect fled.

Haight Street Corridor

 - One person cited for a Sit/Lie violation at Haight Street and Masonic
Avenue at 8 PM.

400 block of Stanyan St.  8:45 PM Missing Person  Officer Lee searched for
a suicidal woman who left a hospital's emergency room before being
evaluated by staff. He found the woman at her home in the Richmond District
and returned her to the hospital.

Twin Peaks - Christmas Tree Point  1:15 AM  Battery  Suspect known.

Woodhaven Court  5 PM  Theft  Unattended mail taken from front porch.

Serious Incidents
Haight St. and Central Ave.  11 PM  Robbery  An 18 year old Diamond Heights
woman was texting on her cell phone as she walked on the 1300 block of
Haight Street when a masked robber jumped from a doorway and tried to take
the cell phone from her. She fought with the man and he struck her many
times in her face with his fist. The robber fled empty handed. She was
treated for her injuries at Kaiser Hospital.

Other Incidents
First block of Broderick St.  5 PM  Threatening Phone Calls  Suspect known.

500 block of Cole St.  6:40 PM  Theft  A resident left his garage on Page
Street unlocked and a thief took power tools from the building.

600 block of Divisadero St.  8:40 PM  Battery  Two men argued about illegal
ticket sales, both alleged an assault. Neither desired to press charges.

Divisadero St. and Geary Blvd.  6:35 AM  Traffic Case  Car versus
pedestrian: injured party taken to SFGH.

Divisadero St. and Geary Blvd.  5 PM  Mental Health Evaluation  Officer
Rodriguez brought a 42 year old Western Addition man to UCSF for an
evaluation.

1700 block of Eddy St.  5:30 PM  Theft  A burglary victim saw a suspect
riding his stolen bicycle and chased the man to Golden Gate Avenue and
Fillmore Street, where he recovered his bike.

Golden Gate Park

       Officer Farrell arrested a 26 year old SF man for possessing burglary
tools at Alvord Lake at 2 PM.
       Officer Fegan arrested a 21 year old Outer Sunset man on a SF warrant
at Alvord Lake at 2:30 PM.
       Officers Farrell and Fegan arrested an 18 year old Treasure Island
man on a SF warrant at Alvord Lake at 6:30 PM.

Haight Street Corridor

       A locked bicycle was stolen on the 1800 block of Haight Street
sometime between 2 and 3 PM.
       Officer Racine took custody of a shoplifter in a grocery store on the
600 block of Stanyan Street at 3:30 PM. The 40 year old SF man had stolen
groceries and spat on and threatened the two security guards who arrested
him. The man was charged with assault, battery, making felony threats, and
theft. He was booked at Park Station.
       Officer Doherty arrested a 40 year old SF man on a SF DUI warrant at
7:30 PM on the 1600 block of Haight Street.

Hayes and Baker Streets  3:55 PM  Violation of a Court Order  Officer Reyes
saw a man on the 1400 block of Hayes Street who was free on bail on a
narcotics sales case. A judge had ordered the 40 year old Diamond Heights
man to stay away from the intersection of Hayes and Baker Streets pending
the resolution of the sales case. The man was arrested for violating the
court order.

1200 block of Page Street  8:45 PM  Missing Person  A teen walked away from
a juvenile facility.

500 block of Waller Street  9:10 AM  Threats  A man who slept in the
doorway of a business on the 500 block of Waller Street became agitated
when an employee arrived for work and tried to force his way into the
business while he threatened to harm the woman. The police were called and
Officer Kelly and posse found the suspect inside Duboce Park. They arrested
the 25 year old SF man for making felony threats and booked him at Park
Station.

Serious Incidents
Stanyan and Grattan Streets  12:15 AM  Robbery  A 43 year old Cole Valley
man was texting on his cell phone as he walked home. Two robbers, their
faces and heads covered, approached the man and demanded his belongings.
The man surrendered his phone and cash to the thieves who fled on foot.

700 block of Ashbury St.  3:30 PM  Stolen License Plate

100 block of Belvedere St.  4:30 PM  Missing Person  Adult walked away from
facility.

800 block of Broderick St.  6:45 PM  Warrant Service  Officer Greer
arrested a 36 year old Chinatown man on a San Mateo County DUI warrant.

200 block of Central Ave.  3 PM  Theft  Occurred on April 6; victim
suspects a utility worker.

Golden Gate Park

       Officer Farrell cited a man on Hippie Hill at 11:50 AM for smoking in
the park and found that the 38 year old Tenderloin resident had been
reported missing in New Hampshire. The good officer ascertained that his
subject was in fit condition and released the man.  His name was removed
from the Missing Persons reporting system.
       A 53 year old SF man was arrested for being drunk in public in Sharon
Meadows at 4:15 PM.

Haight Street

       Officer McArthur investigated an assault on the 1400 block of Haight
Street at 1:20 AM and ordered an ambulance for a 24 year old Lacey, WA, man
who stated that he told another man that he would "take a punch and bleed
for money." The man had injuries to his right eye and nose. His assailant
fled without paying the victim.
       Officer Elieff arrested an 18 year old Oakland man on an Alameda
County probation violation warrant on the 700 block of Stanyan Street at
4:30 PM.
       A bike shop employee on the 700 block of Stanyan Street reported that
a customer had failed to return a bicycle from a test ride at 5 PM.
       At 10:30 PM at Haight and Cole Streets, Sergeant Ryan and posse
stopped to talk with a 29 year old Outer Sunset man about the conditions of
his probation. The man fled from the good Sergeant and was stopped at Cole
and Waller Streets. He was charged with possession of opiates and marijuana

1700 block of McAllister St.  3:15 PM  Mental Health Evaluation  Officer
Barnes brought a 44 year old SOMA man to SFGH for an evaluation.

First block of Shrader St.  10 AM  Missing Person  A resident of a
rehabilitation facility left without permission. The 58 year old SF man is
also suspected of stealing another resident's belongings.

Serious Incidents
Buena Vista Terr  6:30 AM  Threats  Inspector Kelly investigated a threats
case in March wherein a suspect had been identified. The good Inspector
sent plain clothes Officers Barcena and Nakano to the 400 block of Valencia
Street to locate the suspect. The suspect, a 39 year old Mission District
man, was arrested and booked at Park Station for felony stalking and for
violating a court order.

First block of Carmel St.  1:05 PM  Residential Burglary  A resident came
home to find a burglar (white male in his early 50's, 5'6" tall, 115 pounds
with white hair, wearing glasses and a dark jacket over blue jeans) inside
her bedroom holding some of her clothing and prescription medication. The
suspect threw down these items and fled the home. No forced entry was
found.

McAllister and Lyon Streets  2 PM  Robbery  Officer Fegan and Officer
Farrell assisted Sergeant Lederer in a robbery investigation that began on
the 2400 block of O'Farrell Street the day before. The victim identified a
suspect in a photo line-up and the two officers found the suspect in a
laundry at McAllister and Lyon Streets. They arrested the 19 year old NOPA
man and booked him at Park Station for robbery and for felony stalking.

Other Incidents
800 block of Burnett Ave.  2 PM  Theft  Unattended valuables taken from the
unlocked trunk of parked car on April 11.

400 block of Dellbrook Ave.  9 AM Search Warrant Service  Sergeant Ryan and
posse served a search warrant on a residence and seized 128 marijuana
plants in an illegal grow. No arrests were made. Sergeant Niland took over
the Code Abatement portion of the case.

Haight Street Corridor  One person arrested for disorderly conduct - drunk
in public - and on local warrants, one person arrested on local warrants,
one person arrested for possession of narcotics - heroin and hallucinogenic
mushrooms - and on a misdemeanor Santa Cruz County narcotics warrant.

1700 block of Fell St.  11:45 PM  Stolen Vehicle  '08 Mitsubishi recovered.

1200 block of Page St.  4:30 AM  Missing Person  22 year old woman reported
missing by her roommate.

Lower Terr. and Roosevelt Way  2:30 PM  Stolen License Plate

1700 block of McAllister St.  12:45 PM  Death Case  Officer Leong handled a
death case and turned the investigation over to the Medical Examiner's
Office.

First block of Noe St.  9:30 PM  Robbery  A 36 year old Western Addition
man was texting as he walked home. He was set upon by three men who
demanded his phone. He fought with the trio and retained his phone but he
lost his wallet to the robbers in the scuffle.

800 block of Central Ave.  3:50 PM  Missing Person  Teen walked away from
facility.

500 block of Cole St.  10:30 AM  Theft  Internet fraud case.

500 block of Duboce Ave.  4 PM  Harassing Phone Calls

Golden Gate Park - Hippie Hill  8:50 AM  Narcotics Case  47 year old SF man
cited for loitering where narcotics are used.

Haight Street Corridor  Three cited and six warned for violating Sit/Lie
ordinance. One arrested for disorderly conduct and for maintaining a public
nuisance.  One arrested for disorderly conduct.

1400 block of Haight St.  12:20 PM  Aided Case  Ambulance ordered for man
in altered mental state.

700 block of Lyon St.  7:30 AM  Warrant Service  54 year old Western
Addition man arrested on parole violation warrant.

Twin Peaks  12:15 AM  Traffic Case  Hit and Run traffic collision; no
injuries.

woman argued with a man who struck her in the arm. She was taken to Davies
Medical Center for treatment.

Golden Gate Park - Hippie Hill  6 PM  Robbery  A 28 year old Lacey, WA, man
fought with another man. He was then set upon by ten others who beat him
and stole his backpack and sleeping bag.

First block of Broderick St.  6:20 PM  Residential Burglary  Occurred
between 7:15 on March 24 and 3 AM on March 25.  No forced entry found.
Bicycle taken from garage.

Aquavista Way  4 PM  Theft  Occurred between March 3 and March 10. A
resident suspected that one of three contractors visiting for bids took a
silver tray.

900 block of Central Ave. 2 PM  Theft  Occurred between March 11 and March
25. Wheelchair taken from building's garage.

Divisadero and Turk Streets  6:50 PM  Traffic Case  An 18 year old Western
Addition man was cited for a registration violation and for driving with a
suspended license; his car was impounded.

1800 block of Eddy St.  11:30 PM  Gun Case  Sergeant Burrows questioned
four men and seized a handgun discarded in a nearby garbage can. No arrests
were made.

300 block of Laguna Honda Blvd.  9:30 PM  Mental Health Evaluation  Officer
Bowers brought a 29 year old SF woman to UCSF for evaluation.

600 block of Masonic Ave.  6 PM  Theft  Internet fraud case.

2000 block of Oak St.  2:30 PM  Traffic Case  Hit and Run traffic collision
of fire truck.

700 block of Stanyan St.  10:15 AM  Warrant Service  Officer Kelly arrested

1300 block of Hayes St.  9:40 PM  Vandalism  Officer Wu arrested a 30 year
old Western Addition man for defacing City property and released him on a
promise to appear.

1100 block of Masonic Ave.  11:15 AM  Mental Health Evaluation  Officer
Kelly brought a 25 year old SF man to SFGH for evaluation.

Bowers arrested a 52 year old SF man on a warrant for failing to register
as a sex offender.

away from facility.

walked away from care facility.

First block of Beulah St.  7 PM  Theft   Computer and cash taken from
unlocked bedroom. Residents of care facility named a 42 year old SF man who
had walked away from the facility as the suspect.

800 block of Central Ave.  9 PM  Missing Persons  Two teens walked away
from care facility.

100 block of Gardenside Dr.  2 PM  Stolen Vehicle  '00 Honda taken
overnight.

1700 block of Haight St.  10 PM  Public Nuisance  Sergeant Pasquinzo
arrested a 36 year old SF man for drinking in public and on a local
misdemeanor warrant. He was charged with maintaining a public nuisance,
too.

300 block of Masonic Ave.  1:30 PM  Vandalism  A resident reported damage
to his parked car and named two suspects from a neighbor's party the night
before.

1200 block of Page St.  10 AM  Missing Person  Teen walked away from care
facility.

1700 block of Waller St.  9:45 AM  Vandalism  Graffiti found on multiple
buildings.

Late Report
1300 block of Hayes St.  7:30 PM  Vandalism  Mirror broken and door damaged
on parked car sometime between March 26 and 27.
