Golden Gate Park - Alvord Lake  6:30 PM  Warrant Service  A 31 year old SF
man was arrested on a parole Violation warrant and was charged with
possession of hashish and narcotics.

Haight Street Corridor

       1700 block of Haight St.  6:30 AM  Warrant Service  A 38 year old SF
man was arrested on a misdemeanor SF warrant. His companion, a 35 year old
Mission District woman, was arrested on a SF narcotics warrant.
       600 block of Stanyan St. 3 PM  Traffic Case  A motorist reported that
the irate passenger of another car dented his car with fists and rocks.
       1500 block of Haight St.  8 PM  Warrant Service  An 18 year old
Fresno man was arrested on a SF assault warrant.

Page and Lyon Streets  7 PM  Stolen Vehicle  '07 Triumph motorcycle
recovered.

First block of Scott St.  8:15 AM  Vandalism  Suspects broke windows of
recreation center sometime overnight.

1300 block of Willard St.  9:45 AM  Theft  Bicycle taken from building's

Serious Incidents
1600 Haight St.  1:10 PM  Robbery  A 25 year old Daly City woman was
harassed by her ex-boyfriend, a 38 year old SF man. She sought shelter
inside a store and called 911. The ex-boyfriend struck her in the face and
ran off with her cell phone.  Officer Brandt arrested the man the next day
in Golden Gate Park at Alvord Lake.

Page and Lyon Streets  9:45 PM  Robbery  A 33 year old Haight Ashbury woman
was robbed of her belongings at gunpoint as she walked home.

2300 block of 15th St.  1:30 PM  Missing Person  17 year old ran away from
home.

100 block of Clayton St.  6 PM  Stolen Vehicle  '94 Honda taken between May
24 and 27. It was recovered on the 1800 block of Oak Street at 8:45 PM.

First block of Crestline Dr.  10:30 AM  Vandalism  Parked car's engine
damaged.

200 block of Divisadero St.  12:01 AM  Traffic Case  Unlicensed cabbie
cited for permit violation.

  arrested a man who had an outstanding arrest warrant for burglary.

  1400 block of Oak St.  12:30 PM  Stolen Vehicle  A street-parked Acura
  car was reported stolen.

  1500 block of Haight St.  12:40 PM  Warrant Arrest  Officer Racine
  arrested a man who had an outstanding arrest warrant.

  Page & Shrader.  2:56 PM  Warrant Arrest  Officer Racine advised a man
  who was drinking vodka on the sidewalk that he was in violation of the
  law. A record check revealed that the man had an outstanding arrest
  warrant.

  Haight & Ashbury.  5:15 PM  Marijuana Sales Arrest  Plainclothes Officer
  arrested a man selling marijuana on the public sidewalk.

  1700 block of Oak St.  5:30 PM  Cell Phone Theft  A citizen reported
  that someone had stolen his phone from a bag he left unattended in the
  Panhandle.

  1700 Block of Fulton.  6:00 PM  Shoplifting Arrest  Officer Rodriguez
  arrested a shoplifter who attempted to steal 2 bottles of liquor from a
  store.

  Haight & Ashbury (on MUNI).  7:00 PM  Pickpocket  A citizen reported
  that someone took her wallet out of her purse while she was on the bus.

  Haight & Stanyan.  10:19 PM  Court Order Violation/Warrant Arrest
  Officer Doherty saw a man violating a court stay-away order. The man
  also had an outstanding arrest warrant.

Bay to Breakers (Late Report)
Masonic Ave. and Fell St.  2 PM  Lost Property Victim reported losing his
wallet and having it returned minus his drivers license.

Serious Incidents
771 Clayton St.  Burglary  Occurred between 12 and 12:30 PM on May 19.
Entry via an unlocked door. Two laptop computers taken while victim was
home.

200 block of Corbett Ave.  7:50 PM  Robbery  A 29 year old Twin Peaks woman
used an ATM at 18th and Castro Streets and walked home. She was pulled to
the ground, struck in the face, and robbed of her purse and money by two
female juveniles on the 200 block of Corbett Ave.  Officer Tarbox
investigated and broadcast the description of the two robbers. Mission
Station's Officers Richard and Buckner found the two perpetrators at 18th
and Castro Streets and the victim identified them as her assailants.
Sergeant Callaway took over the investigation and recovered the stolen
property from the pair. They were surrendered into the custody of a
Juvenile Probation Officer at the Juvenile Justice Center on Woodside Ave
and charged with robbery.

600 block of Central Ave.  8:40 PM  Battery  Officer Embody investigated a
Domestic Violence incident and arrested a 38 year old NOPA woman for
violating a court order and on a SF warrant for battery. He seized a
shotgun from the premises, too.

800 block of Central Ave.  10 PM  Missing Person  Teen left juvenile
facility without permission.

1700 block of Golden Gate Ave.  Stolen Vehicle  '72 Oldsmobile taken
sometime between 2:30 and 3:30 PM.

Haight Street Corridor

       600 block of Stanyan St.  6:20 PM  Theft  Officer Racine arrested a
51 year old SF man for shoplifting and charged him with felony theft (he
had three convictions for theft), disorderly conduct (drunk in public) and
creating a public nuisance.
       600 block of Ashbury St.  8:40 PM  Sit/Lie Violation  One cited.

Parkridge Dr. and Burnett Ave.  1:10 PM  Disorderly Conduct  Officer Lundin
and Officer Kenney arrested a 51 year old SF man for being drunk in public.
Note: This was the same man who was later arrested for theft on the 600
block of Stanyan Street after being released from Park Station.

300 block of Parnassus Ave.  Stolen Vehicle  '05 Mercedes Benz recovered at
8:30 AM.

First block of Shrader St.  5 PM  Missing Person  27 year old resident of
rehabilitation facility returned after an unexplained and unpermitted
absence.

600 block of Central Ave.  8:40 PM  Battery  Officer Embody investigated a
Domestic Violence incident and arrested a 38 year old NOPA woman for

Bay to Breakers - Late Report
1800 block of Fell St.  1:35 PM  Battery - Trespassing  A 23 year old party
guest from the Sunset District refused to leave an apartment and was cited
for trespassing. Her accuser, a 32 year old NOPA man, was cited for pushing
her (battery).

Serious Incidents
1100 block of Scott St.  3:30 AM  Shots Fired  Residents reported hearing
shots fired near Turk and Scott Street. Officers found rifle casings and
four windows shot out in an inhabited apartment.

2000 block of Fulton St.  8:50 AM  Burglary  Occurred between 5 PM on May
15 and 8 AM on May 16. No forced entry found. Four bicycles, a surfboard
and a wet suit were taken from the building's garage.

1700 block of Waller St.  9:45 AM  Burglary  Occurred between 1 and 7:45
AM. Forced entry of tradesman door to garage. Laptop computer and iPod
speakers taken from bedroom as victim slept.

Golden Gate Park - Alvord Lake  3:05 PM  Aggravated Assault  A 29 year old
SF man was struck in the head with a skateboard by a 37 year old Daly City
man. Officer Kranci and Officer Newland arrested the suspect nearby. The
victim was taken to UCSF for treatment.

1500 block of 6th Ave.  5 PM  Stolen Vehicle  '02 Toyota taken.

2100 block of 15th St.  11:30 AM  Stolen Vehicle  '05 Acura recovered.

800 block of Broderick St.  10 AM  Death Case  Officer Diskin investigated
a death and turned the case over to the Medical Examiner's Office.

800 block of Central Ave.  4 PM  Missing Person - Vandalism  Two reports: a
broken door in a juvenile facility and a missing 17 year old.

400 block of Divisadero St.  11:40 AM  Battery  Suspect known.

Eureka and Market Streets  5:30 PM  Traffic Case  A 52 year old Twin peaks
man was cited for a traffic violation and for registering his car in a
foreign jurisdiction (Florida); his SUV was impounded.

2100 block of Golden Gate Ave.  4:30 PM  Vandalism  Graffiti found on
church wall.

 - Koret Children's Quarters (Children's Playground)  8 AM  Vandalism
Three trees cut down overnight.

 - Haight and Belvedere Streets  7:20 PM  Narcotics Case  Officer Elieff
arrested a 25 year old SF man for selling hallucinogenic mushrooms.

Locksley Ave.  10 AM  Stolen Vehicle  '92 Toyota recovered

First block of Pierce St.  1:20 PM  Vandalism  Resident's tree cut down
overnight.

700 block of Stanyan St.  4:30 PM  Theft  Suspect shoplifted dog collar
from pet store.

 - Officer Frost, Southern Station, arrested a 29 year old Western Addition
man for vandalizing a building with graffiti on the 700 block of Haight
Street at 10:30 PM.

700 block of Scott St.  5 PM  Warrant Service  Officer Ferraz arrested a 34
Pittsburg, CA, man on a misdemeanor Oakland warrant.

recovered with stolen license plated attached.

Duboce Ave. and Sanchez St.  9 AM  Battery  A 48 year old Mission District
woman was struck by a fellow passenger on a MUNI LRV.

1700 block of Fell St.  9 AM  Death Case  Officer Granucci investigated a
death and turned the case over to the Medical Examiner's Office.

Fulton St. and Central Ave.  6:55 PM  Traffic Case  Officer Bowers
investigated a traffic collision between two cars and arrested a 51 year
old Florida man for felony DUI.

Golden Gate Park

 - At noon Officer Machado found a missing 16 year old near Hippie Hill and
reunited him with his father at Park Station.
 - A '99 Toyota was reported stolen from MLK and Middle Drives at 7 PM.

Haight Street Corridor

 - A stolen '02 Cadillac was recovered at Haight and Stanyan Streets at
1:40 AM.
 - At 6:45 PM Officer Farrell searched a 41 year old Haight Ashbury man per
the conditions of his parole and cited him for possessing marijuana at
Haight and Stanyan Streets.
 - Foot Beat Officer Gumpfer arrested a 24 year old Haight Ashbury woman
for shoplifting and for possession of narcotics at a grocery store on the
600 block of Stanyan at 7:20 PM.

Serious Incidents
Turk St. and Masonic Ave.  2:30 AM  Traffic Case  A 61 year old SF man was
struck and killed by a car as he used the southern crosswalk to cross
Masonic Avenue at Turk Street. The car fled the scene and struck at least
four other parked cars in the NOPA neighborhood. Officer Kohrs and Officer
McArthur saw the car being driven north on Shrader Street and found a 23
year old North Beach man behind the wheel after he collided with concrete
planters in the entrance lot of St. Mary's Hospital. The driver was charged
with vehicular manslaughter, hit and run driving, and felony DUI. Inspector
Cook, Hit and Run Detail, took over the investigation.

200 block of Parnassus Ave.  8 PM  Burglary  Occurred between May 5 and 6.
No forced entry found. Bicycle taken from locked garage of building.

Other Incidents
4th Ave. and Lincoln Way  5 PM  Traffic Case  Bicycle versus vehicle;
cyclist treated at scene by SFFD.

1500 block of 6th Ave.  9:30 PM  Stolen Vehicle  Officer Dennis recovered a
'00 Ford pick up. The registered owner was contacted and met with the
officer. The owner reported personnel papers and a checkbook missing. A
resident of a nearby home approached Officer Dennis and shared his
suspicion that a family member was responsible for the theft. He directed
the officer to property inside the home and Officer Dennis recovered the
missing items.

800 block of Corbett Ave.  11:15 AM  Theft  A 38 year old Corona Heights
man forwarded cash to Mexico via Western Union to a man purporting to be
his uncle. He became suspicious when another man called demanding more
money. He contacted his aunt and was told that his uncle was in Columbia.
He did not send any more money.

300 block of Dellbrook Ave.  10:30 AM  Missing Person  A 26 year old Twin
Peaks woman was reported missing by family members.

1700 block of Fulton St.  6:40 PM  Warrant Service  Officer Rodriguez
arrested a 34 year old SOMA man on a misdemeanor SF theft warrant.

2000 block of Fulton St.  10:45 AM  Stolen Vehicle  '99 Subaru recovered.

2600 block of Geary Blvd.  4 PM  Theft  A suspect stole a hair dryer from a
beauty supply store.

Haight Street Corridor

A 28 year old Berkeley woman stole a pair of shoes from a store on the 1700
block of Haight Street at 2:40 PM and traded them for a pair of jeans at
another store two blocks away. Officer Conway investigated and found the
woman on the 1500 block of Haight Street. She arrested the woman for theft
and recovered the shoes from the second store. The woman was with her four
year old son and the officer agreed to allow a friend to take care of the
boy. The friend arrived and was cited for driving with a suspended license
and had her car impounded. The thief was booked at Park Station on three
charges.

1700 block of McAllister St.  12:30 AM  Threatening Phone Calls  Suspect
known.

100 block of Noe St.  7 AM  Missing Person  A 14 year old left home without
permission.

1300 block of Waller St.  12:30 AM  Traffic Case  Officer Liang arrested a
26 year old American Canyon, CA, man for DUI.

1300 block of Waller St.  8:30 AM  Theft  An unattended bicycle was taken
from a side yard.

Serious Incidents
Fell St. and Central Ave.  2:50 AM  Attempted Robbery  A 41 year old NOPA
man saw another man standing on the sidewalk near the above intersection.
The other man was holding what appeared to be a handgun and demanded the
first man's belongings. The potential victim walked away from his aggressor
without any loss reported. The suspect was described as a black male in his
early 20's, with three to four inches of hair, wearing a white t-shirt over
dark denim pants, he was carrying a small black handgun.

1400 block of Waller St.  2 PM  Burglary  Occurred between 11 AM and 2 PM.
Entry via open front window. Laptop computer, a camera, and jewelry taken.

1500 block of 6th Ave.  9:30 PM  Stolen Vehicle  '00 Ford taken.

100 block of Carl St.  3 PM  Missing Person  A 78 year old resident failed
to return home as scheduled. Due to his medical condition, dementia, an
immediate search was launched. The man safely returned home on his own at
10:30 PM.

800 block of Central Ave.  10 AM  Missing Person  A teen failed to appear
in school as promised. She returned to the facility that evening.

2000 block of Fulton St.  9:30 AM  Stolen Vehicle  '99 Subaru taken.

Haight Street Corridor

 - One person cited for a Sit/Lie violation on the 1400 block of Haight
Street at 5:30 PM.
 - Officer Doherty arrested a 29 year old SF man on two misdemeanor SF
warrants at Haight and Stanyan Streets at 8 PM.

1700 block of Hayes St.  12:40 AM  Traffic Case  Officer Liang arrested a
34 year old Inner Richmond District man for DUI.

1800 block of Hayes St.  1 PM  Battery  CCSF PD Sergeant Gaytan arrested an
18 year old OMI District man for battery and making threats during an
altercation at the CCSF John Adams campus.

2000 block of McAllister St.  2:30 PM  Traffic Case  A 20 year old Bayview
District man was cited for a registration violation and for driving with a
suspended license; his car was impounded.

200 block of Steiner St.  9 AM  Stolen Vehicle  '09 Volvo taken.

First block of Sunview Dr.  11 PM  Death Case  Office Lee handled a death
case and turned the investigation over to the Medical Examiner's Office.

400 block of Warren Dr.  7:45 AM  Search Warrant Service  Sergeant Gin and
posse served a search warrant in an apartment and recovered a prohibited
assault weapon and a silencer.

400 block of Warren Dr.  2:15 PM  Theft  Bank fraud case.
