Serious Incidents
First block of Buena Vista East Ave. 5:23 PM Aggravated Assault on a
Police Officer Plain clothes officers on a surveillance detail approached
the driver of a stolen car who used the car to assault the officers. The
officers fired shots at the driver and fatally wounded him. Inspector
Cagney, Homicide Detail, took over the investigation.
Other Incidents
400 block of Burnett Ave. 10:15 PM Threats Officer Wu investigated a
Domestic Violence incident and arrested a 46 year old Corona Heights man
for making felony threats.
Duboce Park 6:40 PM Theft A thief made off with an unattended bicycle.
Geary Blvd. and Lyon St. 8:45 AM Traffic Case Car versus bicycle: one
taken to SFGH.
Haight Street Corridor - 690 Stanyan St. 3 PM Theft Officer Davies
investigated a shoplifting and charged a 19 year old Kenwood, CA, man with
burglary.
