Serious Incidents
Turk St. and Masonic Ave.  2:30 AM  Traffic Case  A 61 year old SF man was
struck and killed by a car as he used the southern crosswalk to cross
Masonic Avenue at Turk Street. The car fled the scene and struck at least
four other parked cars in the NOPA neighborhood. Officer Kohrs and Officer
McArthur saw the car being driven north on Shrader Street and found a 23
year old North Beach man behind the wheel after he collided with concrete
planters in the entrance lot of St. Mary's Hospital. The driver was charged
with vehicular manslaughter, hit and run driving, and felony DUI. Inspector
Cook, Hit and Run Detail, took over the investigation.

200 block of Parnassus Ave.  8 PM  Burglary  Occurred between May 5 and 6.
No forced entry found. Bicycle taken from locked garage of building.

Other Incidents
4th Ave. and Lincoln Way  5 PM  Traffic Case  Bicycle versus vehicle;
cyclist treated at scene by SFFD.

1500 block of 6th Ave.  9:30 PM  Stolen Vehicle  Officer Dennis recovered a
'00 Ford pick up. The registered owner was contacted and met with the
officer. The owner reported personnel papers and a checkbook missing. A
resident of a nearby home approached Officer Dennis and shared his
suspicion that a family member was responsible for the theft. He directed
the officer to property inside the home and Officer Dennis recovered the
missing items.

800 block of Corbett Ave.  11:15 AM  Theft  A 38 year old Corona Heights
man forwarded cash to Mexico via Western Union to a man purporting to be
his uncle. He became suspicious when another man called demanding more
money. He contacted his aunt and was told that his uncle was in Columbia.
He did not send any more money.

300 block of Dellbrook Ave.  10:30 AM  Missing Person  A 26 year old Twin
Peaks woman was reported missing by family members.

1700 block of Fulton St.  6:40 PM  Warrant Service  Officer Rodriguez
arrested a 34 year old SOMA man on a misdemeanor SF theft warrant.

2000 block of Fulton St.  10:45 AM  Stolen Vehicle  '99 Subaru recovered.

2600 block of Geary Blvd.  4 PM  Theft  A suspect stole a hair dryer from a
beauty supply store.

Haight Street Corridor

A 28 year old Berkeley woman stole a pair of shoes from a store on the 1700
block of Haight Street at 2:40 PM and traded them for a pair of jeans at
another store two blocks away. Officer Conway investigated and found the
woman on the 1500 block of Haight Street. She arrested the woman for theft
and recovered the shoes from the second store. The woman was with her four
year old son and the officer agreed to allow a friend to take care of the
boy. The friend arrived and was cited for driving with a suspended license
and had her car impounded. The thief was booked at Park Station on three
charges.

1700 block of McAllister St.  12:30 AM  Threatening Phone Calls  Suspect
known.

100 block of Noe St.  7 AM  Missing Person  A 14 year old left home without
permission.

1300 block of Waller St.  12:30 AM  Traffic Case  Officer Liang arrested a
26 year old American Canyon, CA, man for DUI.

1300 block of Waller St.  8:30 AM  Theft  An unattended bicycle was taken
from a side yard.
